@Leshen, just curious about the reaction on the thread? If it is because of the Victron comment, then I understand 😅

I'm in the market for a unit as advertised, am I missing something?

If there is a warranty, I don't see an issue...

@Dean, is the 5 year warranty offered by Sunsynk?

Purely on the Victron comment

You definitely won't get an 8kw(10kva) Victron for R30K

I see, R30k is still too much for me, that's why 2 x 5kw Growatts for R20k 🤣

I'm not clued up with Growatt. Can it blend AC and DC to supply the load

Nope, it can't blend, that is luxury for me. That is why I can't afford Sunsynk and surprised that OP doesn't want it, for the price its going for. If I had R30k to spare, I would grab this without a blink.

It can blend, I have 2 X SPF 5000 ES and most definitely can blend Solar and Grid, not sure if it can blend from the Battery and AC, That I think it cannot do. Here is dashboard of my system at the moment, on SUB as can see it blends solar with grid.

Mmm... running 2x Growatt SPF-5000ES and they don't truly blend for me. In the early morning if my batteries are low they put the Solar to batteries and run the loads from Grid. I don't really see that as blending really... not like the way I understand SunSynk does.

I am actually looking to replace my Growatts with probably SunSynk (likely 2x 5kw) as a Victron 8Kw with separate MPPT units is a little costly. I am looking to run 4 strings of panels.

@THD Don't understand why yours don't blend. here is dashboard of my system this morning, one can clearly see as the sun comes up it starts to blend solar and grid, only starts to charge the battery once there is more solar then the house load.
