May 28, 20233 yr Morning All, Did a beta software update of SA on Friday and noticed that now the Software version field on the Configuration is not showing. Anyone else with this issue? Not sure now how the next update would be done as the field does not show anymore? Have done a reboot, shutdown and restart and reported the issue to SA. MdF Edited May 28, 20233 yr by MdF
May 28, 20233 yr I think the standard response here would be to email the developer and let him know. He's pretty responsive and if it's a bug, it will probably be rectified. I'm not sure if it's just a visual bug or if it will actually prevent future updates from being picked up.

May 31, 20233 yr Hey, I've spoken to the SolarAssistant Devs and this is a bug they are aware of with the latest Beta. Another beta will be be published to address this along with a couple other small issues with the latest beta so just keep up to date and this should be fixed soon, luckily it's just a visual glitch and does not effect your ability to update once the new version is available.

June 3, 20233 yr Author So, last night there was a software update. Whilst the software version field was still not showing, below that the normal text showing that an update was available was showing. I did the download and the system restarted. The bug has been fixed and the software version field is now showing again. MdF
July 10, 20232 yr Has anybody else on the Beta program updated to 2023-07-07 and encountered strange hangups? Reported it but so far no response.

April 24, 20251 yr HI....did you ever manage to connect the Victron MPPT to the Solarassist. I have almost the same config of inverter/MPPT/Solarassist.... what a struggle !
