  1. Hope @TaliaB to recover to good health soon .
  2. I have some Epever XTRA 3415N 30A units that I have used with Pylontech batteries . They are 150v max units .Connected 2 of these to the battery busbar and 1 strind to a 145v Axpert. 4kW These units have their own program and can be setup to run with your current system . Can be programed to LFP or user settings Programming can be done using a PC .My Axpert had no communication with the pylontechs. This system was connected with Solar assistant so I could see some of the battery info . I have upgrade to 6 kW inverter and dont use them .
  3. Weigh the battery u2000 50Ah is 24kg and the U3000 74Ah is 32kg .

Need help to connect Hina battery to Hinaess app. Battery is connected to Luxpower inverter and some battery info is displayed on Luxpower app .
  5. No they are sold .
  6. BMS settings 25.6 volt 2.71kWh SVolt I used the RS 232 port and made a cable to serial 9 pin connecter and use Pbms 2.4 PIN 3 TX PIN 4 RX PIN 5 Ground There is some info on this forum to use the CAN port to USB

S Volt also makes a 325 AH 51,2V battery on wheels . I have a 24 V battery made by SVolt that is 18 months old with good performance. There are a few forum members that are satisfied with the SVolt 51,2 V 106AH batteries . They also make a 220 AH battery . The large capacity batteries are build with the new blade cells .
  9. My voltage was set correct from day 1 . No overcharging and now after 6 years 2 of my 3 batteries are starting to swell . They were all installed on the same day . The cycles are 884 , 772 , 815 . All com cables was installed between batteries . Even the difference in the cycles tells me this is not a good BMS . There is a hell of a alot of these batteries that start to swell on this forum. The system is connect to Sollarassistant and I could see when the first cell was starting to go out of balance . Supplier has disappeared. What is realy a good make of battery.
  10. With my setup 4500 Watt panels is connected to the Voltronic MPPT and 3300 Watt on external MPPT connected to the battery . I run the Voltronic MPPT at a lower voltage and let the external MPPT do the bulk charing . The Epever MPPT have a beter setup system with better control . No voltage overshooting like Voltronic MPPT . I have more useable power and even get the batteries full in cloudy days .
  11. @meetyg I did this preventive maintenance on my Axpert 5 years ago and sofar so good .
  12. @Cyclic with my battery it was only 1 cell that went OVP and it was only the first few days it happend. This cell was out of balance but was balanced after a few cycles . Battery now in operation and cells stay balanced after 185 Cycles.
  13. @James D try this company
  14. @Bas84 5000W without heat sink
  15. @Svolt Tech thankyou for supporting your customers . I had a 25.6v 2.71kWh s Volt installed also with to high charge voltage of 28.8v Bulk and 28.0v float. It was rectified but after only 32 OVP on no 3 cell . Running for 1 year and 147 cycles . Cells are well balanced now. Will this also void the warrenty .
  16. @Bobster.and @wolfandy In Gauteng Lesedi we work with the old law of Transvaal . Lesedi charges R467.14 per month just to have a connection.
  17. Agree with @Scorp007 .The max PV Array Open Circuit Voltage is 145 V and above 145v will cause damage to the MPPT .The operating voltage range is 60v - 115v . So any voltage above 115v is a waste . The MPPT cuts back if 115v is reached. Stay with 2 in series..
  18. With the Svolt BMS the fullpack voltage and fullpack current m amps is set . The battery will stop charging at the set value and the BMS STATUS will display FULL.
  19. @Scorp007 I run the Axpert with no utility power connection . Setting 12 and 13 is used to control start/stop of a pool pump and geyser . The charging 16 was left on solar/utility. When the load is more than the PV the balance is taken from the batteries . This does not have any effect on the battery charging. Batteries is charged as set on 26 and 27 .
  20. Yes it is working by using a 9 pin connecter to the PC and RJ 11 to battery RS232 . 9 pin connection pin2-RX pin3-TX pin5-Ground . RJ 11 as per S Volt diagram.
  21. Also avialable at Communica . Only had good service from them .
  22. If you get a gain of 15⁰ in the middle of winter you are doing good . The gains will be more summer time . We are offgrid but boost the geyser every day during the winter . During the summer there is a lot of days we dont boost at all .
  23. @jovani is the output switch on or off position . After a lightning strike and repair by supplier 2018 my machine does the same when the rocker switch is in the off position. Could not solve the problem. It is still working 100% everyday just can't get it to switch off. Every time it click the display lights up. It keep repeating this action until the battery is disconneted .
  24. One of those technical staff showed me the wiring they did . Best I have seen in my life .
