@Rudbot what batteries do you have.Is it Pylontech or Mecer batteries. Mecer5kva inverter cannot be connected directly to Pylontceh batteries. You have to get software like Solarassistant and connect to a Rasp pi. You can get a demo on their website.Solar-assistant.io Battery setting 5 select User and do battery settings 26,27,29
  2. 3 Pylontech U3000 installed 4years ago. When charging SOC is aqual when discharging to 50% there is a difference of up to 4% of the SOC. Amount of cycles over 4 year No1 536 No2 524 No3 569 The difference is slowly increasing over time .They say this could be the current sensor and can be calibrated. SOH 95% capacity 210.1Ah The system ie OK so will leave it as is.
  3. Sent you a mail
  4. @Flouw l have two for the old 5kvA 4000Watt inverters.
  5. @michael.iIf you send a Mail to Pierre at Solarassistant he can help you remotely. Only had good response from him.
  6. Chris Louw replied to Bontie's topic in Batteries
Al I can think off is Solarassistant. You have the buy the software and used a Raspberry Pi.
  7. Chris Louw replied to Bontie's topic in Batteries
@BontieIt does use the voltage of the the batteries to calculate the SOC. WatchPower battery voltage reading and SOC can not be used with Lithium batteries. The SOC is also effected by battery cutoff voltage setting 29 If I remember correct. A higher setting of 29 will display a lower SOC and vice versa.
  8. I run offgrid and also wanted more charging power on cloudy days. Added a few panels but kept the max charging rate the same. LS does not affect us.
  9. @Grotman Yes the Axpert inverters do overshoot charge settings. I will not exceed a setting higher than 52.5 volt. This will prevent exceeding max 54.0 volt for Pylontechs. 3.5volt per cell is more than enough.
  10. What battery is fitted to the inverter. What is the DC cutoff voltage setting no 29. What is the load when it switches off. What is the DC voltage when it switches off. Could be the battery nearing end of life.
  11. @DeezGP Sonoff . Select device settings. Open Power on State and select OFF and save.
  12. These are not the same. One 5kW PF 1 Inverter. The other 4kW PF 0.8 Can not be used to parallel.
  13. @JacoBusa The operating range for that inverter is 40 to 115 volt. 145 VOC is the max voltage. Exceeding that can damage the mppt and is a waste because the mppt will clip the output when above operating voltage. What is the panel VOC
  14. What inverter do you have. What is your mppt operating range. Normal practice is not to exceed max pv by more than 20%.
  15. The operating voltage is 40v to 115v. So any thing above 115v is a waste. 145VOC is the absolute max. The next thing you hear is BOOM.
  16. The CBI Astute Smart Controler can also be set to disconnect exceeding set loads. It alows to set a delay time form startup loads. Restart time can also be set. Sonoff pow can also be set to switch off when exceeds set load. It does not have the time delay or restart.
  17. @Taher Sylla MultisibControl
  18. Only thing to do remove those panels and demand a refund. I had 4 450Watt panels some of them only tested 128 Watt . After big fights the supplier refunded me.
  19. @DannlerYes unless you want to change the default.
  20. 2620 Watt produce by 2 extra MPPT. SolarAssistant can not connect to Epever. Output limited to 100 Amps. Max battery charging 111Amps. Off grid installation.
  21. This is to pump hot water from the geyser to the flatpanel to stop it from freezing and pipes bursting.
  22. Sunpays do sell them. They have no stock. WhatsApp them for more info.
