  1. I have no knowledge of firmware updates. Glad your Axpert is stil alive
  2. Battery absorb must be 52.5v .S Volt charging specs
  3. Your charging rates is very high.If you lower the rate the cells will be more balanced .You have to connect to the BMS and see if it is setup correct for 15 cells and to see if the cells are balancing. See the post on the forum and watch the video. Product Options and Reviews Svolt106AH Review Battery(5.43kWh/16 cells. Lower the charging for 15 cells and full pack voltage to 52.5v
  4. That seems to be a warning indicator and not a fault. Battery equalization.
  5. Do you know wat the Pack full charge setting on the BMS is. Should be 52.5v ( 3.5v per cell ) for the 15 cell battery and charging Should go to zero Amps.
  6. @IanDee Yes I use 1 battery bank for inverter and MPPT
  7. The external MPPT will connect direct to the battery with a busbar with its own fuses. Input to the batteries is limited to what size battery bank you have. I will leave the 370 Watt connetced to the inverter.
  8. @FlipSnyman With all the battery settings of the Epever I get better control of the battery charging than with the Axpert inverter. The MPPT disconnects in case of over voltage and also display a warning on the display. If connected to a PC the max charging voltage is on display. There is a lot of info avialable of panel, battery and MPPT and graphs of pv production.
  9. I run a pack of 3 x u3000 Pylontechs for 4years 6 months. The charging is set at 52.5v..The cells is still well balenced and the SOH is at 94%. Even at 52.5v the Axpert still overshoot tot 53.4 v. There is no benefit to charge at a higher voltage just the danger of exceeding The Pylontechs max charging voltage. .
  10. I bought a Epever XTRA3415N from Thesunpays. It is a 30A 48v MPPT and cost was R2445 plus cable for coms R130. The 2nd one I had to import because they had no stock.
  11. I added 1 MPPT 2 years ago and have added another MPPT a year ago. The 3 Pylontech batteries is connected to a busbar. The Inverter and 2 MPPTŚ is connected to the busbar each with fuses and circuitbreakers. The MPPT can be programed to run with any BMS. I use Solarassistant to monitor. At this stage the Solarassitant is not connected to the extra MPPT but I get al the battery info from the Pylontech. ( Watts in and out of batteries. )
  12. @SalukiI had the same problem and decided to ad a extra MPPT to the existing Inverter. Is working good with no problems.
  13. The Epever 30 A MPPT have a Rated charge power of 1560 Watts. It also have a Max PV array power of 2340 Watt 50% more than the rated power. I have 1 running with 1880 Watt for more than a year. It clips PV charging at about 1560 Watt. There is a warning not to exceed the max allowed open circuit voltage. Al their MPPT ratings is like this.
  14. @willie_bI use the Epever as the master . Beter charging control so your settings may be different. I dont use the load side of the mppt
  15. It was the first 5kVA -4kW Axpert inverters. Always switched the slave off. There was no down time for AC - out.
  16. 2019 I had 2 5kW inveters in parallel. All was fine but the night time consumption was to high. We were running leadacid batteries at the time.I decided to switch of 1 inverter at night to lower the consumption. After a couple of days when I switched the inverter it blew 8 of the 16 MOSFETs. I dont know why. I may be wrong but I will not do it again.
  17. @willie_b I have 5kw Axpert with 2 Epever 30A MPPT connected to 3 x Pylontech u3000 running for more than 2 years. Epever have al the settings to be setup with any BMS. Connects with PC with a RS485 to USB cable. Solarassistant is planning software for Epever this year.
  18. @trevorinrsa Contact BritishRacingGreen on this forum. He will help you if possible.
  19. @Joachim du Plessis Is this for a Axpert inverter. I have bought a Mainboard board for a 5kW inverter from the Sunpays. They used to have stock. They also sell 2nd hand inverters at a fair price.
  20. @MadeinRSA plesure to be of help. Now we are going to learn from you . Is it possible to parallel the PWM with the MPPT unit ?.
  21. You must switch off the AC power on / off ( rocker switch ) at the bottom of the inverter to change the setting 28 .
  22. I have 3 US 3OOO with Axpert 5kW inveter. Can draw 5kW with no problems. Like to stay as low as possible with load.
  23. Baud rate for pbmstools is 9600
  24. @Jon123 For thePace BMS the RS 232 - RJ 11 pin out.
