Is anyone using one, would like to compare notes

Do you actually have one, and if so, what is it like compared to Solarman's ?

Can you purchase it yet, or is it still in beta?

 

The two screenshots are of the overview page, the app has quite a few different graphs like the screenshot, the settings are exactly the same as the inverter and can be changed remotely.

 There is a 5 minute delay in data transfer, not real time asi had hoped, no pricing yet, believe it is still in the beta stage

Can you schedule to charge the batteries to different levels based on different days in the week?

I found that the dongle doesnt want to stay connected to my wifi ap that has the same ssid for the 2.4ghz and 5 ghz channels but rather prefers to connect to further away 2.4ghz only ap

I would assume the same ssid for the 2.4 and 5 ghz is the problem, mine is connected to an extender ( 2.4 ghz ) with _EXT at the end of the ssid and the dongle is rock solid, do you have an Ethernet connection on your dongle

I think it does have an ethernet connection, but i will just create an additional ssid and have that only running on the 2.4GHz so that will solve the issue, I also now have the issue of when the logger disconnected from the wifi for a few hours, it seemed to buffer all that data and later upload it with incorrect values, it showed that my panels were generating 21 000w which is way too much for my 5000w inverter. I sent an email to joel and support and waiting for a response currently.

my logger was offline Tuesday afternoon and then when it online again, I also had readings for pv and load the same as yours,  20 kWh on the load and 17 kWh for pv, but since then it cleared itself.

  My logger does not have the Ethernet connection, just wifi.

The new Sunsynk logger does have Ethernet port - it's inside the antenna.

@PeterP, Sunsynk has two versions, wifi only and wifi with Ethernet connection, I took the cover off mine, there is no Ethernet connector

@PowerUser, i have not played with that particular set of settings, but, yes, looks like you can charge to different soc settings on different days

@Tariq, if different SOC based on different days is possible and working correctly, that would be great. IMO, that's a very important setting, in order to maintain and extend the live of the Hubble Lithium batteries and possibly other brands. According to Hubble, one has to charge the battery to 100% at least ones a week. I assume, that is required because of some sort of balancing and call maintenance build into their BMS.

But on the other hand, in general, it's not good to charge and keep the battery at 100% every day. Currently with the build-in options on the SunSynk interface, different SOC based on different days, is not possible. Unfortunately, I wasn't one of the "chosen ones" to get a beta dongle, so not able to test it myself.

unrelated, but does anyone know if the solarman dongle works on the sunsynk inverters?

The Sunsynk's used to come standard with the Solarman dongle, so yes they do work. 

I'm seriously looking at getting the "new" dongle... am I able to export/import my Solarman data? For historical purposes.
