What battery are you using with the inverter?
And what solar panels array? How many panels and what wattage?

Are you using anything for monitoring? SOLARMAN, etc.?

The settings look good, personally I prefer to power the loads first from PV, it is more efficient. Battery can be charge from any excess

You did not state what your aim is for the system and what problems you are experiencing so nobody knows how to answer your questions.

No problems really im just using the same amount of prepaid electricity. Shouldnt u use solar in the day? But if i go check it shows the grid is proveding more than the solar.

please post picture of system work mode 2. You said you have 12 panels, what is the wattage of the panels?

Please exlain how i can do what u said. If u can send me a pic where i can change it thank you.

If I may, looking at your own photo, on this page, System Work mode, as said by others, suggestion is to tick "Zero Export to CT" in the left middle of the screen, as well as the Energy Pattern of "Load First" on the lower right side of the same screen.

For the battery settings, shown below, try to un-tick the box for charging from grid. The point would be to try and charge your battery using the available solar power, not to keep it charged via Eskom. You could later play around with the time-of-use settings to do a grid-charge once a day, eg. maybe near the end of the day for topping up if it was a cloudy day. Bear in mind that for your battery the recommended charge/discharge rate is 50A, and maximum at 100A. Although you could cap it at 95A, it is probably better to keep closer to the recommended value most of the time rather than near the peak.

Hi All,

I have installed a 16kw Deye invertor single phase, I am having issues with PV as I have fuse on each string connected directly to invertor pv and only getting 100v per string and my DC light is off, I previously had a Mecer system and panels worked 100%. Is there setting that needs to be amended

You need 150V from panels for the Deye to start working from PV.

How many panels and in which direction do they face. Also what size panels or their Voc?

Morning All, we have two 50kW inverters in parallel with CT's on the Substation Incomer. We would however move the CT's back to the main Sub where the Eskom incomer is to push aux power back to the main sub. Firstly the main sub is about a 100M away from where the Inverters and CT's are installed, so we cannot move the CT's there.

Now we are trying to use the Eastron SDM630CT meter with Modbus, but we cannot get it to work. Have anyone help for us or worked with this?

I see we can also use the AccuEnergy meters, but nowhere we can find which meters?

Thanks

Marius

What have you set up and what is it doing or not doing? I don't know the Eastron or the rather *LARGE* 50kW inverters, where you failed to mention what make they are, but if the manuals state that they would interoperate, then you should be able to get it going, you will need to put in, ideally a shielded twisted pair cable from the main Sub/where the Eastron presumably will live, to where your inverters are located, ideally underground in a metal conduit with one side of the shielded cable earthed properly...
