With ICC / ICM no longer operational, is there anyone who still has access to the license key register? @Marius2001

I had a Pi fail on me and now I have purchased a new board, but the old license key is now no longer valid and I'm stuck.

Otherwise, I'm going to have to move over to solar assistant, which I don't really want to do, as my setup is running smoothly.

I hear your hesitance to move over to Solar Assistant. But with ICC / ICM not being supported anymore, that proves a long term risk for solutions that you may need going forward.

Take the jump and move across now to Solar Assistant. It does work very well and is very well supported with ongoing upgrades happening all the time. I am sure your system will run just as somethly.

All the best.

100% agreed, and I already have Home Assistant running, so it will tie in perfectly.

The issue is I don't presently have the time to move the setup across to SA and HA, carrying over automations etc. I will get to it at some point...

If Solar Assistant was able to work with Victron MPPT solar charge Controllers, I would not hesitate to move.

What other software would one be able to use when you also have additional MPPT controller?

does any one know?

Home Assistant can take just about anything you throw at it.

Yes HomeAssistant can, but its such a hassle to configure and setup, and where does one start?

Need something that can take inverter plus, victron MPPT.

thats for the MPPT's you did not mention what inverter, if also victron then there are quite a few solutions for their inverters.

Thank you! Really appreciate it.

Currently I have an Axpert MAX, but its in for repairs so it would be for that, but if the inverter cannot be fixed or I have the option for Payout, I might go Sunsynk or Deye. do you perhaps have links for these 3 so I can start reading up?

For Axpert I think there are quite a few posts here on the forum for getting them onto home assistant.

For sunsynk you can find good info here on the forum as well. See screenshots from the stuff you can get from these great guys work.
look for @kellerza and @slipx

I use that as well as for battery monitoring

Hi, hope someone can help. I have ICM and the SD card is corrupt now. Can any one help with a copy? I look at Soar Assistant but not sure how to use as I have some sonoff switches to switch loads on and off as solar become available. Any inputs are welcome.

Guys, I have been using Solar Assistant since early 2020 just before the dreaded big-C hit us. Check out their web page at : https://solar-assistant.io/. I'm not affiliated with them in any way, this is just a better solution for what's out there. Many different systems are natively supported. I used the same RP model 3 which I previously used for ICM. There is allot of features, dashboards and more. You can also integrate into Home Assistant with MQTT. You can even control your inverter from the App and it supports load shedding schedules to ensure your batteries are at the level you require before load shedding hits. I don't use my Sunsynk inverter's native app as it does not give me as much control and overview as Solar Assistant does and Solar Assistant is almost real time, maybe 3-5 seconds behind what is actually happening with your system. This is just may way of thanking the team for a great product. Hope it will assist you all. Regards,

My Issue and reason for not moving to them is they don't support MPPT charge controllers as of yet...

Hi everyone,

I am a long-time user of ICM and I love the software. Unfortunately, my old Raspberry Pi died. I have now set up a new Pi with the original image, but my valid license key is being rejected because of the new Hardware ID

Since the original developer is no longer with us and there is no official way to get a new key, I am stuck. I’ve tried manually editing the file but it didn't work.

Does anyone have a link to a patched / unlocked version of the ICM file or a pre-activated image that works on any Pi?

Any help or a PM would be greatly appreciated. I really want to keep using this great software!

Thanks in advance!
