Second hand lithium batteries.

Featured Replies

Hi All

I just want to put the word out there that there are second hand lithium batteries for sale all over the country that are in fact stolen from MTN cellphone towers.

I was visited today by my local police questioning where I get my batteries from. Thankfully the batteries I buy and sell are brand new so they say I am safe.  I was a suspect when I put an advert on gumtree for the very same make of batteries that were stolen in my town not far from where my premises are! 😳

Please guys, beware of any second hand lithium batteries being offered to you!

Yes I see them all over Facebook market place. I always wondered why the cellphone companies dont pay Private security to go after these guys.

At first I wondered how is it possible that he had a -1 score, and then upon closer inspection I concluded that sad = -1 haha.

On a side note, everyone that reacted as "sad" to Solaris's post is giving him a negative reaction score haha.

Finally someone noticed......😂😂

I was getting worried about all this negativity going on, as if I did something wrong in warning everyone. 🤭

Just to clear things up for everyone out there. I do not buy or sell stolen batteries.

All my batteries are brand new, not ex-MTN !

So if possible please change your reactions to something positive. 🙏🏻

Thank you

Solaris 😁

OK, not sad anymore. Happy about the thievery.

I must actually get on to MTN and tell them to replace the batteries in my local tower. 4G reception goes off at night, and on cloudy days is non existent. I couldn't figure it until I realised it was behaving exactly the same as my solar system.

A big thank to everyone for taking their sad faces away! 😁
