@Shaunj187za correct, yes I do have one installed here by me. ALthough it is not a breaker or Wi-Fi as you actually requested, but in my opinion one of the best (Read most accurate) loggers. I started off by logging to PC, currently just using it to log to the Pi. Data via Serial: Current 0.001 A Voltage 0.1 V Power 0.1 W or var Frequency 0.1Hz PF 0.001 Energies (positive) 0.1 kWh or kvarh Energies (negative) 0.1 kWh or kvarh Run hour meter 0.01 h Sample rate for data is 4096 samples/s @ 50Hz I set my logging for (per second) that operates sufficiently for me with what I need, so all values return every second. R

Although some breakers do give/log some info I would suggest getting an ET112 unit, the logging on that is excellent.

They do have that USB comms issue, connect via USB-232 to the RJ45, that comms run stable.

OK Update: Thanks to Wanderer, he had 4 panels available, and I was able to get all 4 from him. Nice and friendly transaction from a fellow forumite. So at this stage, I am still looking for an additional 2 units😶 I do see for the others as well that are interested, it seems "The Sun Pays" seem to advertise their own branded 340W poly units at the R2,5k range. Happy Solar everybody.

I have purchased a few items from them in the Centurion store. Also on 2 occasions online, when the items were only available online, Delivery was around 5 days, whereas I would have expected around 2 days as the warehouse is in Midrand, and shipping to Centurion, so maybe 30km. But nothing wrong in my experience, I am just always in a hurry 😂

Hi J From a BMS option it can be determined to a degree if you were sold old/used batteries, but this is not fail safe. There are suppliers selling Second Life batteries, but they do that as such, Second Life batteries. (Price also cheaper etc.) The issue I believe you are concerned about is being sold old/used batteries as new? The BMS keep count of the cycles, and this is available via communication, but then again one can either fit a new BMS to VERY OLD batteries, and report will indicate 0 cycles, or even if the supplier has a bit more savvy than the average, he will reset the BMS count to 0, so either way you will be screwed. R

Good afternoon Oom Chris In theory the 8kW single phase unit will not have an effect on the 10kW units, as when the grid fails the 8kW should in theory also drop all feedback on P1, and only supply the essentials DB from PV and/or Batteries as needed. The 8kW unit output is isolated from the input phases of the 10kW units, and the only common share is P1 on all three inverters. I believe that no one can say for certain exactly what will happen, as neither the users, nor the designers in my opinion catered for such a scenario of mixing 2 X 3 Phase units with a Single Phase. The other theory is that the 10kW units will stop feedback the moment that any of the phases drop out. This can be tested while the 10kW units is feeding back by dropping one of the phases via the breaker for that phase if 3 separate breakers in place, and making sure the other two phases stop feedback with one phase down. As a safety precaution if it was my install or plan to install, I would add a 3 phase contactor of proper rating in the line as well, ensuring that phase one is broken by the contactor between the 8kW and the 2 X 10kW inverters. Phase 2 and 3 also broken if needed, but for me rather break all. Then the contactor to be energized from Phase 2 or 3 will ensure once either of Phase 2 or 3, or all phases fail on the grid side, there will be an isolation barrier between the 8 kW unit and the 10kW units. Then the 8kW will operate in normal grid loss mode and supply the loads. Once grid restores, the contactor will energize from P2 or P3 as connected, and normal feedback can resume. If one is concerned about grid fluctuation on restoration, one can add a delay timer to the contactor to ensure grid is available for xx seconds before the contactor is energized. good option imo is the ET112 from Victron, also known as Carlo Gavazzi. Although not Wi-Fi, but works well for most R

I would tend to agree with @Mark generally it hovers between 25 and 50, depending on what the inverter is doing. This is mine over the past 24h, 1st spike load shedding, 2nd spike general evening bulk loads, 3rd spike battery charging. Battery temps tend to follow that graph.

Thanks for that @louisjvdw, Agreed, but on the axperts those do not do the job. The 4 wire has an additional PWM pin and a sense wire vs the standard 2 wire single speed fan. So the inverter see a fan failure even though the fan might be spinning OK. The Axpert 3kW for example has the 3 wire, so basically only additional PWM for speed control.

Morning @francois Nope, of the 2, one does not work spin or anything, the second one by swopping the 2 control wires, can get is to either not start up, or to spin at full speed. I am looking for Fans for Axpert. Maybe someone here knows where one can buy these? I have already bought 2 similar 4 wire fans from RS Components at their astronomical pricing, but to no avail. Eagerly awaiting any pointers of where to get, or maybe someone has one or so Axpert beyond economical repair that could assist? Thanks in advance Riaan
