I have seen cases that certain versions of the BatteryView application does not correctly read the values correctly due to invalid regex within the config files.

Best way to check is to login as Administrator and use the console. Run the command "pwrsys" and you should see the following:

I believe these are the values you are after?

thanks - yes i do see those in string output window within admin of BatteryView, and the value of 148000mA is equivalent  of 4x37,5A recommended charge and discharge rate of my us3000a - it might be my growatt that is not very stable then.  had the batteries working fine with a mpp inverter.

Update:; i got a firmware update for my growatt sph3600 - and now everything seems to work.

This happened to me a few years back on my US2000B and i was provided with this BMS Force update tool which did work for me. Essentially its the update firmware window you use within BatteryView but it runs seperately.

Do you perhaps have access to this BMS Force update tool by any chance? So we can give it a shot.

Just do a search- it's on here.

Did anyone work out how to overcome a dead/bricked us3000c? Tried to go from 2.2 to 2.4 and it died at 83%. Now no lights or anything 😞

Did you ever get this sorted?

Hi Duck, did you find the software?

I searched and could find a lot of updates, but not the force tool

I have also a bricked US5000 now, stopped at 83%

Can anyone urgently point me to the BMS force tool please!

Hi there.

You know, I once had a similar problem with a US3000C. But after trying a lot of fixes, I ended up unplugging all the other batteries, dropped the charging amps to something like 10 Amps (cannot exactly what is was but it was about 50% of the data sheet max charge rate), and then all of a sudden it started charging.

I let it finish, and when it was done I reset everything and upped the inverter charge rate once again. Ever since then it has been running flawless.

I think if you use multiple PylonTech batteries, as soon as one has a "kink in the cable" for a moment as far as the charge rate is concerned The BMS cuts out and only allow the rest to  charge.

I'd rather try that if I was in your shoes, than fiddle with firmware.

My recommendation is to play around with low amp charge rates and up that bit by bit until you see it's happy.

Good luck!

He means 83% upload of firmware not 83% SOC.

Hi, can someone share US3000C v.2.7 firmware?

The firmware have 2 components: one bin file for the firmware for battery's BMS and one for battery himself;  is recommended to flash the zip as it is, with all both components; the number you request is referring to BMS of battery; is recommended to Not flash it alone;

Where have you got that information from? I Don't think it's correct.

Check this forum; some people almost bricked the batteries by matching wrong version of BMS firmware with different battery firmware; I talk about US3000C, this is what GT4020 is asking for.

Their is only one firmware for a battery. The zip file contains firmware for different versions of a battery and batteryview selects the correct firmware. This is because the actual bms was changed due to a shortage of chips. Their is not firmware for the bms and firmware for the battery.

The version you linked is newer respect to the one i was looking for. Can someone share exactly version 2.7 zip? I can't find it.

Strange thing is that in version 2.7 (as far as i know) there is v.1.4 firmware, and in version 2.8 i saw v.1.7. Why this big jump?

You seem to be getting muddled up.

Their are 2 versions of firmware, one for the old bms eg. 2.7 and one for the new bms eg. 1.4. The bms was changed because of chip shortages.

The zip file contains both versions eg 2.7 and 1.4 and batteryview 3.0.28 chooses the correct firmware to upload to the battery depending on the BMS type. This is all explained in the batteryview 3.0.28 instructions and has been discussed in this thread before. If you upload the wrong firmware the battery will be bricked. (Some people seem to have some luck unbricking with the force tool).

Pylontech do not release a log for firmware updates that I have seen. The link I posted earlier in this thread for the firmware no longer seems to work. Its not recommended to upload new firmware unless you have a problem.

Let me explain: i have 2 different set of US3000C: one with firmware v.1.3 and one with v.1.4. I would like to update batteries with v.1.3 to v.1.4 to have all with the same firmware. Do you know where can i find v.1.4 firmware? I wrote to Pylontech but they do not reply until 30/01 due to chinese new year holidays.

I based my request following this post:

He said that v.2.7 zip update contains v.1.4 new firmware. For this reason i was asking for v.2.7 zip firmware. What is wrong?

The zip file you are looking for is called 'st2.7+e21.4' Use at your own risk.

st2.7+e21.4.zip
