Axpert Firmware

Hi everyone, I have a WKS Evo Max II 10kVA, that is the same as the Axpert one. I noticed that it consumes 35VA from the grid when it is in battery mode, and there is no solar power. I think this is strange. I know that these inverters consume around 70W when there is no load and some people complain about this I understand that it must consume some power to make the inverter run. What I don't understand is why does it take it from the grid and not from the batteries ? If I cut the grid completely the inverter still runs fine, and from the batteries only of course. the aim of such hybrid inverters is to lower the grid invoice, so it must…

This seems to be a axpert mks clone, it can be configured with WatchPower software, etc. The camper does not have wifi, internet, etc. but I have suited a nice android tablet especially made for cars as my central radio set and navigation system. Now I want power data (solar and battery voltage, solar power, etc.) on this tablet as well. Off course I could install a RPi clone that connects to the inverter and collects data, stores it in a database, create nice graph's, but in fact I don't need that much. Good day, I have a Mecer sol-i-ax-5m4 that had firmware version 72.00 on. I replaced a pylon tech UP5000 with 2 Greenrich U-P5000. When both these batteries were fully charged i started to have like a reboot trip on the inverter. First it was every 30 odd minutes than a bit longer and then again 30 odd minutes. I tried using I tried using only one than the other to eliminate a faulty battery. Still no change. Disable the auto restart for overload and over temp to see if either is causing the "reboot" Nothing seems to cause the trip, to a point where I switched off the batteries. I have taken the plunge and "upgraded" my firmware to version 72.70. As there is no manual available to guide us as to what the new available setting actually mean, I have just left them at the default values for now. At least nothing tripped or blew up when I restarted the inverters.

Has anybody tried the Kodac firmware on the other oem Axpert models such as RCT or Mecer etc? I see there is a newer version of the MCU display firmware that matches the version numbering. The latest I found on this forum is 2.66 but I see Kodac has a 2.70? I know that this is a lack of communication between the inverter and the display, and to fix it, the firmware of the inverter must be updated.
