Hi there! Is it possible to safely patch the Axpert Max 3.6 with 7.2 Firmware that can be found here https://www.ostrovni-elektrarny.cz/?podpora ? Is there a list fo changes for different Firmware versions? I have a strange thing happening at the end of the charging cycle (reaching absorption voltage) and I was wondering if the firmware would fix the problem. Thank you in advance!

  6. Started by Don,

My Kodak Max 7.2kW has been up and running for about 12 days now. I have noticed two issues and wonder if it is only me that has the problem or is it a firmware issue? 1.) I am unable to charge the battery with solar energy and utility at the same time, although setting 16 is set to "SNU". As long as solar power is available, the batteries will only be charged by solar. It seem it is stuck in "CSO" mode. If my batteries are at say 80% SOC when the sun is setting, the batteries will only charge with solar. Only once the sun sets and solar disconnects, will batteries be charged with utility only. It is therefore only solar or only utility. I cannot get the batteries to…

  7. Hi there Can someone help me in getting the latest firmware installed on my sol-i-ax-5.rm. I also have a pylontech lithium battery and a axpert modbus communication box that needs to be installed and have no glue how.

  8. Hi Any advice on why my Axpert 5k and 8k inverters wont accept my generator as ac source. It will detect the AC power from generator but simply wont start charging my batteries at all. I can hear the relay switching and then of again. FYI : Axpert 5kva 4kw inverter working 100% same generator. Thanks

  9. Started by Coulomb,

A post yesterday reminded me to check the linked site for recent firmware files. I had not looked for over a year, and found 3 recent firmwares there. One of them is removable display firmware 02.60: https://www.ostrovni-elektrarny.cz/support/Axpert/FW/RemotePanel_Reflash_MCU(02.60).rar This is listed as an Axpert King firmware, but I'm guessing that it would also work with Axpert VM III main firmware version 91.20, also on that site: https://www.ostrovni-elektrarny.cz/support/Axpert/FW/VMIII_Ver91.20.7z The removable display firmware adds another BMS type, LIC. There was for a long time type LIB, which I thought might have stood for LIBrary, but now it lo…

  10. This is a beta version of the patched firmware version 71.80a, based on factory firmware version 71.80 for Axpert MKS II 5K-48, PIP-5048MG, and equivalents. It is not to be confused with factory firmware version 71.80 for the Axpert King and PIP-5048MK. The only changes are that the two premature float bugs are fixed, and the version number on the LC Display is different. 71.80a (and 71.80) should be direct update replacements for firmware versions 71.70 and 71.71. However, 71.80 handles 4 extra CAN commands, so it is probably wise to update all paralleled / 3-phase machines at once. 71.80 has unannounced and undocumented new BMS features; see this post. New ^DnnnBMS…

Hello, I have an Axpert MKS 3K Plus 24V. My Problem is, that the Batteries doesn’t get full. The inverter shows all the day symbol for full Battery and no current to the Battery. For testing, I have load my Battery with external device. The Battery shows an acid density of 1.25. At the next morning I look at the inverter. the Inverter has switched to Main Current at the night. Now the Battery get loaded up to 70% (acid 1.20). The next day lower. The next day again lower. Up to 0% with acid 1.10. Now I has read that there’s a float bug. Is it correct ? Is there an Firmware Update? I only find for 48v systems. …

  12. I am looking for a firmware for Inverex Aerox 5.2 kw if anyone has that available ?

  13. Started by Gnome,

Hi all Recently found a Windows PC and tried to do the firmware update. The update starts by powering down the inverter, then a minute later the firmware update program just pops up a dialog "Could not open COM port" At that point I need to pretty much turn of the inverter, disconnect the battery, turn off the circuit breaker, etc. before I can get it to power back on. Anyone else experience this?

  14. Started by Coulomb,

My colleague Weber and I have been working on a new version of the patched firmware. It's still based on 72.70. since that's the latest firmware that we have files for. For various reasons, he's been doing the majority of the work on this patch. It's been an amazing job: some 5 weeks of work, over 60 individual patches, and there is a complete new charge control mode called dynamic current limit control. The latter is complex enough that it has its own manual. For users with lead acid batteries, the dynamic current limit probably won't be of much interest, but for users of paralleled systems there is a bug fix that should improve charging. There is a quicker tra…

  15. I am looking for a firmware for Axpert MKS PLUS 3KVA 24V if anyone has that available. I downloaded from link below but after update it shows battery voltage as 50V. http://www.ostrovni-elektrarny.cz/index.php?page=podpora Hoping someone can help me here.

  16. Started by Coulomb,

The beta versions of patched firmware 73.00a are here: LFP, and other chemistries. It's split into two posts only because of a problem with multiple attachments and the recently updated forum software. Ironically, the forum software needs to be patched to host the patched firmware

  17. Started by PurePower,

I have seen a few people showing screen shots of v4.12 of the SCC firmware. Does anyone have a copy of this firmware? or where it can be downloaded from?

  18. My colleague Weber and I have the opportunity to create a patched firmware based on official firmware 75.XX. This official firmware is for Dual and Triple SCC Axpert 5 kVA models ONLY. We have no means to test it, so we'd rely on feedback from users, many of whom could well be on this forum,. It would be the "LC" (Lead aCid / Lithium Cobalt) variant, since that would presumably be what's most used here. Plus, it's the simpler of the two variants. It would not have any fancy patches like "font" improvements, AussieView™, etc. Would there be an interest in fixing the two charge bugs? Recall that the official firmware goes too quickly from bulk/absorb to float stag…

Hi Folks, I bought a usb cable for the BMV 702 to usb on the PI.It does not work(recognise the device) On windows it does. The ic software and windows sees the device. I don't have a key for the ICC windows version so I cannot test it. What is needed on Pi-2 to get this to work? Thanks.

  20. Started by segaklon,

Good afternoon, I would like to know if there is a possibility to update the firmware of this model, I have a 24v, 1000w installation on plates and NICad batteries 185Ah C5, and the problem is that these batteries need a lot of voltage you need to reach 1.90v per cell and the inverter is limited to 31.5v, so the 20 glasses only reach 1.57v. Firmware----- U2-02 -----U1 29 What I need would be to remove the voltage rise limitation and reach at least 37-38v thanks

Are there still some users interesting using the Pi as the main software for controlling and logging there data for Inverter. I have develop standalone app that just logging the data and switching the Inverter (more playing around to see how the Pi will perform doing these tasks with a interface) I am thinking of going ahead, but would like to know if it is worth it.

  22. Details here, in a pair of AEVA posts. In summary: * The charge bug still exists in official 72.70 firmware. * It turns out that the bug is a typo, not missing functionality. The effect is the same for users, unfortunately. * 72.70 has some options that earlier firmware doesn't, so it may be worth upgrading if you are using an earlier patched firmware. There are the two new settings (documented in the Axpert 5KVA User Manual V2.1 ). New setting 32 can be used for manual equalisation (but only up to 58.4 volts, or 14.6 V per nominally 12 V module). It also seems to overshoot the voltage settings less, but that's just my impression so far. * SCC fir…

  24. New patched firmware is posted here: http://forums.aeva.asn.au/forum_posts.asp?TID=4332&PID=63036&title=pip4048ms-inverter#63036 Edit: my apologies! I forgot thr all-important word "patched". So there is nothing new from Voltronics here, but a new patched firmware based on 72.60 rather than 72.40.
