Problem with Deye inverters in parallel
Parallel operation is a bit tricky but here is a quick checklist: Same inverter software - both inverters should be on the same firmware as closely as possible Turn on the master battery first Ensure the master battery is connected to the master inverter for comms purposes - then ensure that all other batteries are connected to the master appropriately Ensure any and all dip switches are set accordingly Follow the appropriate turn-on process to Inverter, DC and AC Ensure that the breakers are set properly and not tripped

Just a note when cleaning them is to bot use hard brushes etc as these may damage the panels, I just spray water on them and that works - no scrubbing etc

This is good advice ^ I only mentioned a Pi as that's what I use for Solar Assistant (and what i am familiar with) - but others have used an ESP device with great success. I am running my HA instance in a container on my server but you can also run it in a VM - its about what you have available and what you are comfortable with in terms of config etc.

Yes - Home Assistant can integrate with the CBI switches. The switches are based on the Tuya platform and can use the normal Tuya integration or the Local Tuya integration. You would also need to ensure that the Inverter information is coming into HA - this is specific to the inverter type and there are integrations for most that can do this. Winter production is always less than summer. Yes you can add different panels onto MPPT2 or add more ont MPPT1 - up to another 6 Edit: just don't mix different wattages on the same MPPT

8kwh Deye Inverter... Quick charge?
There is no one button mechanism to do it like Luxpower does. What you could do it untick time of use which will force a grid charge to 100%. You can then set the charge current to as high as your batteries allow. But this is all manual

They didn't have to but generally they do that to limit the amount of high energy devices on the inverter. Also, it's not clear if he put any devices on non-essentials.. The inverter has that functionality by default

Redundancy is a good point to consider. Another point i guess is that should you need to upgrade - with a 5kw you'd only need another 5kw but with a 10kw you'd need one of those - its pricier

If i could do it again id go for a single higher capacity battery - reduces the amount of wiring and complexity in balancing (ensuring the multiple smaller ones charge and discharge relatively uniformly

Sunsynk Inverter SOC settings.
Someone changed the battery type from Lithium to AGM. In the Menu > Battery screen you will see it set there. You can change it by selecting Lithium or AGN % - then it will show the SOC on the system mode screen. However i would check with whomever changed it to AGM why they did that and if the Inverter + Battery combo can support the Lithium setting properly

5000W Lalela Hybrid Inverter
Looking at the spec sheet on TA it doesn't mention / support CAN / RS485 comms with batteries - so they cannot talk to each other and you would need to setup the battery on User defined settings (with voltages as per the battery spec sheet). It looks like a rebranded MUST inverter based on the manual You would need to set battery type to Lithium in menu 14 then set the limits based on the battery

If you select the LiBMS menu on the inverter what do you see? No harm in reducing those values - i have mine at 120A and i have 3 batteries so the system could in theory work at 150A
