With SOC overlay it looks like everything is working as intended. When Prod > Load battery is charged up and drawn down when Load > Production. Your batteries are being hit by the usage which is large so perhaps there is some load management or moving of loads that needs to be done How many batteries do you have and what size are they

Your average usage for the day is quite high - how many batteries do you have (what is the size of the total bank)? From 9pm-midnight you have some huge spikes above 2kw - can you overlay the battery SOC onto this graph as well

Deye 12KW 3P/Sunsynk batteries
Cursory look at the graph says its correct - at about 10 (you are consuming almost 4kw and producing between 3 and 4 kw so the system would draw down from batteries. Looking at the system flow that also looks fine - perhaps a better understanding of what you expected to happen in those specific times

How to limit battery charge level from solar on Deye 6kw inverter?
Scorp is correct - Time of Use specifies a minimum SOC not a max. There is no built-in way to specify max unless you use voltages - unless you wangle something with some automations and loads Also - why do you want to limit charging to below 100%?

Did you update the capacity on the inverter from 200 to 300Ah? When the new battery was added did you do a top balance for a few hours to align the battery SOCs?

Luxpower app allows for remote changes as well. And as noted above if you get Solar Assistant it doesn't really matter what inverter / app you have as it gives you remote access as well. 5kw is a good starting point but also like mentioned you may need to manage power consumption so that the inverter doesn't trip - its remarkably easy to do

1 - depends on the manufacturer. I use Dyness and they dont allow blending sizes but Pylontech does 2 - generally not recommended but some adventurous ones have done so. Ideally you want the batteries to have the same / similar voltages (float, charge) and number of cells 3 - Not recommended by manufacturers and is likely to void warranty - unless you are using Pylontech

Only the master needs a CT coil. The 2nd inverter wouldn't know about 'import' per se because it doesn't have a CT installed. There is probably some enhancement that SS could do in the reporting

Yeah you shouldn't have to et a bidirectional meter - especially if you don't intend to back feed. Is your conlog the one that needs to be plugged in or the one that uses a battery for the CIU?

Sunsynk inverter won't start up
Hi @Pierre-Andre Try shut everything off - all breakers, batteries and inverter completely for 3-5mins. Run the house on Eskom (which im assuming you're doing already) . The follow this restart procedure step by step noting to wait for each light confirmation: Edit: Shutdown process: 1. Flip the Change Over Switch to Grid (To power the house from the Grid and bypass the system) 2. Flip the Inverter breakers Off in the DB Combiner Box 3. Flip the PV (DC) Isolator on each Inverter Off 4. Press the On/Off button on the Inverter to turn Off (Takes about 60-90sec for the inverter to turn off completely) 5. Flip the breaker/s on the battery to Off System is now shutdown and safe to work on. Startup process: 1. Flip the battery breaker/s to On 2. Flip the Inverter breakers on DB Combiner Box to On 3. Press the On/Off button on the Inverter to turn On 4. Flip the PV (DC) Isolator on each Inverter On (WAIT for the system to startup and Normalize, at this point you will see the DC(if during the day and you have panels) and AC lights. The NORMAL light can take 60-120sec to illuminate you will hear the relays when this happens.) 5. Once you see the NORMAL light you can now flip the Change Over Switch to Inverter for the system to pick up the load.

Flip the DC switch on inverter to on then PV (DC) Isolator on each Inverter On (WAIT for the system to startup and Normalize, at this point you will see the DC(if during the day and you have panels) and AC lights. The NORMAL light can take 60-120sec to illuminate you will hear the relays when this happens.)

Sunsynk DC on/off switch
Going to assume you have a sunsynk as i have no other info to go on apart from your image. Yes you can switch PV off on the PV switch on the inverter. You can then drop / switch off the PV breakers in your PV box - this should then render the panels inert. Remember to disconnect the MC4 before starting the work on the panels. The Inverter + batteries will still continue to power the house should eskom drop @Steve87 - anything else I've left out?

AC Overloads happen and the SS fails gracefully - i have over 10 on my first inverter and the built-in mechanisms have protected the inverter. 1. Did the inverter autorestart (silly question as it appears to have done but just checking)? - yes it does restart within about 30-60 seconds 2. How do i clear the fault code on the app? - i do not think you can - the error remains on app and inverter 3. Is there anything I need to do or was it "all done for me"? - all done - just maybe check what sequence caused the trip so that you can manage it next time 4. Forgive the newbie question...

I swapped my new SS dongle for an old one. The old owner tried t unbind it from their plant but it only worked after contacting customer support in China.
