  1. At this stage I am happy with the state of my battery bank . Our energy consumption is the same everyday . I use a shunt and energy meter to record the amount of energy we use .The 2 things that is important for me is a set bulk charge time everyday 140 min. at 58.4 volt and the 90 Amp charge every few months . I do ad some external charging to get a full 90 Amps . The 140 min works for our use , adjust according state of battery and amount of energy used . Do you have any balancers on your bank . The bank is fitted with 2 x HA02 balancers . They seam to do a good job . Once a week every battery is checked and there is little difference . I also do rotate the batteries once a year . There is no battery management system on the bank . Don't want to spend money on something I not going to use in the future . Lithium was not available for my setup wen I bought this set . Would like to get info from other Lead Crystal users .
  2. This from the user manual from Betta batteries . They actually recommend a higher discharge . My normal cycling is to about 20% DOD . When I bought them a lot of people was quite critical about them . Up to now I am happy with them .
  3. Hi Ingo I also have 300Ah Lead crystal battery bank . Deltec claims the batteries are not prone to sulfation and can be used not charged 100 % . How do you check your temperature . My charging rate is set at 50 Amps but do not go higher than 40 Amps and is full at 09:30 . The battery maintenance states that every 3-6 months the battery must get a good discharge (50-70%) and then do a good charge in our case 90 Amp . I do that every 6 months and up to now 22 months in use the batteries is still good . Would like to know what your impression is of the Lead Crystals .
  4. If you remove the sticker over the barcode of these inverters there is only a blank space on the original sticker . ???. I was working at a production plant with ISO standards . Never would this go out to customers . Setting 38 from user manual only later models . Hope this can assist you
  5. I think Plonkster that you hit the nail on the head . This is what happens if I switch my inverter to power saving mode , only supply power when there is a proper load . I dit not like all the switching on and off and set 04 to SdS default .
  6. InInverter Warehouse sell 330 w Canadian Solar for R1875 . Was there today pallets of panels in store .
  7. Had the same problems with a so-called axpert with S/N barcode number (Always check the barcode should be 14 number digits , digits no 5-8 is the year and month of manufacturing if not don't buy ) . It would also switch to utility for no reason and disconnect the solar PV many times a day . No support from supplier . Had to replace the SCC to solve the problem .
  8. They are the inporters and supply some big Companies . Lots of stock and give discount for bulk . What a surprise to see Henley on Klip after 30 years again . Very neat and clean for a small town .
  9. Thanks everyone for your input on this . The Arduino is up and running thanks to excellent service from PiShop from Henley on klip . After trying all the advice from you I realized the board must be faulty . They chekced the board , replaced it and started it .

  11. Thank you Javi I will try to get TLL-USB converter from the supplier when I go there again .
  12. I downloaded the program from the Arduino.cc website the same as the screenshot above. My operating system is 32-bit. This morning I uninstalled Arduino and started from scratch but no luck. Thanks for all the advice I appreciate it. I'll keep on trying.
  13. Thanks Jaco the right board is selected but I get the following message when the USB is plugged in "USB device not recognized". I uninstalled it in Device manager and ran scan for hardware changes but it still comes up with USB device not recognized code 43. I've even tried installing the driver ch341ser.zip, no success.
  14. Hi may 2019 be a good year for all of the Forum . Bought a Arduino Uno 3 but cant get it going . Have a problem to get a port connection . I am using the USB cable that came with the Uno . Installed on a Laptop and later on a PC still the same problem . Also down loaded another driver but still don't connect . Please help .
  15. Axpert 5000 watt 64 volt bought from trusted supplier imported by Mustek South Africa 12/12/2018 .
  16. Hi Samsed , the Axpert inverter only takes the power it needs from the panels . What is your load at this moment . If you increase the load the amount of power taken from the panels should increase . If you add 400 watt extra load the watts should increase 400 watt . The battery bank you have is small for the size inverter you use . The Royal batteries is more of a UPS battery . If you discharge them to 50% DOD (48 volt ) they won't last very long +- 250 cycles . If you keep them around 10% DOD ( 50 volt ) they will last a few years . The choice of the battery bank you need depends on what you want to use them for . The Manual states at least 200 Ah . There are people with more experience than me to help you with the choice . The Trojan batteries give a wide range of batteries with a high cycle life 1500 at 50% discharge . Pylontech lithium batteries claims 6000 cycles at 80 % discharge . My advice would be to keep the Royals . Try and keep the voltage above 50 volt ( Setting 12 voltage point back to utility - 50 volt ) not lower than 49,6 volt and first learn more about your system before you spend money on new batteries .
  17. Hi Samsed that is the incoming power from your panels . It is the load plus power going into your batteries . If you press the up button below the screen once the Amps going into the batteries will be on the screen . If you press the down button a few times will get the load % , load va and load in watts . Enjoy your new Solar system .
  18. If one of the batteries in a string fails would the HA-02 give any indication that something is wrong . Heat noise ?
  19. Hi the phone number on the web site also just rings also trying to get hold of Gary . If possible can I have the number .
  20. Press the down button a few times until you get PV volts . Must be at least 60 volt to connect . Check voltage at PV input . Plonkster is correct HS is not a error code .
  21. Omnipower and Axpert inverters . There was a lot of damage . TV , Geyserwise power supply and pump , Home theatre , CCTV and Alarm .
  22. I am thinking of installing disconnecters (plug in tipe )on solar panel wires and AC wiring in case of a storm . What else can I do .
