I would cancel my order, request a refund on grounds of being mislead and buy from someone that has stock. How can you accept more orders knowing you dont have stock? You are now holding that person hostage financially  is'nt it? The supplier have their money so could'nt care less about the customer.

Had the same type of run arround with AC/DC express and my suppose to be Axpert inverters. For this simple reason I changed suppliers and wont buy from AC/DC Express  again,EVER!!!!!!.

And that  is why I prefer over the counter sales.

In April, when I started comparing suppliers, I could have actually got cheaper kit there and then (through a mate) but I chose a single supplier, together with his recommended installer, so that any performance or warranty issues could be resolved at one point.

PFS has offered me a refund but meantime my items are way more expensive than when I paid for them.  I see from this thread there were very similar patterns to the delays in 2021

Interesting to see the comments once you have joined the army queue for food. LOL

Yip, it's saddening to see millions of SME's worldwide going out of business due to this engineered PLANdemic.

It's not easy to stay in business with all the current hurdles, and unfortunately most customers think they are still living in pre-2020 era. I believe there is lots more pain coming, and where possible get as much stock as you can now.

To customers out there you will see this occurring more frequently in different markets too, and in the good old days, this was just bad customer relations. Unfortunately now stock is a huge problem.

I work for a large corporation in another market altogether, so am not directly involved in solar, but have seen stock problems in multiple markets, which are even affecting reputable businesses.

I must not comment before I have coffee in the morning.I think by now just about everybody has been wronged in some way or another due to this Covid thing.

Glad to see that the PFS tried to make right by you. Unfortunately they are just stuck in the middle.

So for now, holding on to your order fixed the price so thats a plus.

Like TimCam said ,think were all just tired of this PLANdemic.

As long as we take notice of the supply problems. Better to have that order and being in the queue.

I'm just glad the brewers can supply the yeast by product for Marmite. Never even knew that was the reason for not being able to buy it for 18months. Seems I must go and buy enough for the next 12 months. 😜😜

Testing times with most manufacturing concentrated in one country.

It can also depend on the area you live in, I believe. Also, I wonder if the wait time is still so long?
I also want to order a battery, but I really need it to be here sooner than 3 weeks. I have already checked DHL’s website postsendungsverfolgung.com, and they have such opportunities. So, it depends on the manufacturer and the time they hand the battery to the delivery company. Is it possible to get a special case somehow for an additional price? I need to finish the construction process before I leave the country, and it would be great if I could get the battery in time.

Hi Guys with regards to Hubble backorders and product availability

There are some of our clients waiting Impatiently for their Hubble backorders and we apologize  for the inconvenience.

We are trying our best to Resolve this matter as best we can.

There is a huge demand for the product and everyone is fighting for stock at the moment however we feel confident that the stock backlog and shortage will be sorted out by the 15th or 16th of June there after we should not have backlogs or backorders on Hubble AM2 batteries.

The Rest of their product range will only be available after the 30th of July there is simply no stock available on the S-120 AM4 or X101

Regards

Power Forum Sales

16th June has come and gone and no Hubble (as I correctly predicted 100%)

To be clear - this is not about some covid conspiracy or about the global supply chain bottlenecks. FYI- there has actually been stock sitting in Cape Town. Some contributors really confuse their issues - maybe on purpose to muddy the waters. I know because I monitor the electronics industry closely since Wuhan in Feb 2020.

This is about valuing and being transparent with the customer.

I've been in the game of advising customers of delivery times with a long lead time, and there are right ways of doing it. Simple changes to how one communicates make a massive difference, for mutual benefit.

Then my friend, you know there is supply problems.

But there is obviously a reason for Hubble not to ship them out. Maybe stock to cover warranty claims, etc? 🤔

Of course there are problems but just because your only tool is a hammer doesn't mean everything is a nail.

I wish that was the case, although a company as un-customer-friendly as Hubble is highly unlikely to worry about.  It's 1000x more likely to be poor logistics and opacity (intentional or otherwise) when dealing with customers.

We have tried to source electronic components and found at times the price was 5 or more times higher. We could not just pass such an increase on to our customers......

Just change what we can control. Adapt to situations.

That is sometime the case, particularly now when batteries are in big demand. It may take local distributors who are burned by Hubble's insensitivity to their customers a while to find alternatives, but you can be sure they are looking hard.

I've been in the telco game for years and have seen people switch vendors (including with batteries) and then (after going through the effort of changing) never looked back. Not everything costs 5x more. Many SA distributors have great relationships with their vendors who are in for the long term.

To be clear, I received the inverter and panels from PFS as promised and no problem so the Hubble battery is the part missing and where Hubble can't communicate properly about their delays.

Thank you very much for this. It creates huge stress for us at PFS when Hubble don't deliver as promised. We want to always have the client as first priority.

I have had a meeting with Hubble and they have indicated that they will be keeping extra stock aside for us. I am hoping this will sort the issues. It's very sad to see unhappiness re the hubbles supply.

Let's see how it goes this time around with this shipment comming in and then we can all assess after. I am very happy to play open cards .

Sincerely

Why don’t you get a refund for the Hubble and get another brand

Thanks Jason

When is the meeting with hubble? and when can we expect some feedback either directly or on the forum?

Just my humble 2p:-

As someone who has paid last week for inverter, panels, hubble battery, etc ... depending on how far down the queue I am, it would be nice perhaps to send the stuff that is available so that at least we can get installing all that stuff and start benefitting from the solar/inverter solution (during day).

A battery installation would be then rather easy when available? (I hope)

Will wait for update now on this thread from Jason to find out next steps for those of us who placed the orders and when we can expect to get them based on what Hubble /PFS have managed to secure.

If this type of info could be shared, it would be super helpful

orders placed between XX MAY 22 - XX MAY 22 - Delivery June

orders placed between 01 JUNE 22 - 15 JUNE 22 - Delivery June

orders placed between 15 JUNE 22 - 21 JUNE 22 - Delivery July

In my case, if my battery only comes in July then I would ask for the other stuff to be delivered ASAP, and if I have to collect the battery from somewhere in JHB when available, I would be happy to drive to fetch it

I have spoken with @HubbleLithium this evening and they have indicated that their logistics company has been offline for two days and will be online again tomorrow as promised. I hope this info is helpful.
