May 6, 20251 yr I've noticed there are some extra options on the app but it seems you can't use these if the firmware doesn't allow for it (I tried to enable "MPPT Multi-Point Scanning" in the app but this is not visible on the inverter screen). Does anyone know what the "PV1 Selfcheck" and "PV2 Selfcheck" options do on the Advanced Settings section on the app?
May 12, 20251 yr 12 kW three phase updated today due to issuesSW Ver.: M 2006-1172 / S 18-07 / C 1001-E04F
June 10, 20251 yr Recent SunSynk 16KW Inverter firmware updateM 9.0.2.8 / S 1.7.2.6 / C E.4.4.0Now also have "PV1 Selfcheck", "PV2 Selfcheck" and "PV3 Selfcheck". I enabled them but have no idea what they do 😁
July 7, 2025Jul 7 Hi Everyone.Whilst I like to keep my 5KW updated with the latest firmware, I am hesitant to do it the 3rd time. The first update, the inverter was incorrectly confirgued and warning sounds came from it. It turns out it wanted to recognize my battery as an 200A.The second time and current version COMM:E43D - MCU:3387-0513 caused the up arrow to "stick" Its not that I have to press the up button at all. If I press on a setting it ramps up. I had to make all my changes via the Solarman App and avoid the touch screen at all costs.I have to come clean though. This happend last year and since I am now on holiday for 2 weeks. It seems the best time to try and sort this out. Though I have no other issues at all.Any suggestions? Though I tink upgrade most likely will fix it. Edited July 7, 2025Jul 7 by Robert1981 spelling

Tried to google my issue via the Gemini AI app. It suggested an reboot since it can happen that firmware updates don't usualy go according to plan. So I tried and it actually worked. Now I can press any arrow and make changes directly on the inverter without any issues.

November 5, 2025Nov 5 10kw 3-phase inverter updated last night to:M 2005-1172S 18-07C 1001-E050 This was to try and resolve battery voltage overshooting BMS request when solar export is limited. No help unfortunately and Sunsynk state it's the latest firmware available 😔

Working on the 3Phase data , as due to Sunsynk standards they don't have proper naming like all the other inverters. Already have the 12kw 3P, latest master version is 2005-1175, will publish full list once its complete

Multiple calls to Sunsynk, and each time they tell me different versions are latest and greatest for my 16 kW, but your list seems newer. My pant reports M 9.0.2.7 / S 1.7.2.6 / C E.4.3.D(which come from MCU1-SG-Ver0000-E43D-CK.bin and MCU2_9027US_NC_NR16K59V.bin)
January 25Jan 25 Halo everybody. Can a sunsink/deye clone be upgraded with any of the sunsynk/ deye software? Say for instance I have an 8kw Deye Clone and I want to pair it with an 8kw sunsynk inverter can I upgrade both inverters using the same software/firmware to wotk in parralel?

March 24Mar 24 My SunSynk 5kw inverter had a firmware update yesterday, so new firmware is MCU 3388 and E440, since this update the earth neutral bond is permanently on now (in the outputdB), this used to only come on when the grid failed and then would go off after 30 to 60 seconds once the grid was back. Any body else have this issue before any suggestions, have done a complete power off waited 5 min and turned back on same issue.
April 7Apr 7 Hi All, we have added the Sunsynk version tracker to our free portion of our PVBiz Web App. You can check the top 10 latest versions per inverter rated power as well as the 3 most used versions. - It gets updated weeklyThis covers all 1Phase Low Voltage and 3Phase High Voltage. Low Voltage 3Phase are combined for now and work in progresshttps://app.pvbiz.co.za/sunsynk-fleet-versionsLet me know if you have any questions or feedback :)

I should have just stayed on the firmware I was on. I did sort out the earth bond, by shutting everything down, turning off incoming power etc. The problem I have now is my screen on the inverter is a purple colour. I have tried the holding the key in to reset the screen but it stays that purple colour???
