April 8, 20233 yr Deye SUN-5K-SG03LP1-EU HMI: Ver 0000-C361 MAIN: Ver 0-3384-151 Sadly, the 15kHz noise is still there. There are a few new settings under the Battery section, something along the lines of "Quite Mode" is what you are looking for, to change it from 15kHz to 20Khz. Update file and manual, to update from 3382 to 3384 only for the specified inverter model. Some updates require an additional LCD update, so if you run a version older than 3382, i do not suggest you to update. https://workupload.com/file/M4WMQxJSjQd Edited August 3, 20232 yr by Oberfail

April 16, 20233 yr Hi All I have upgraded to the latest firmware that Deye support sent me for my Deye 8KW inverter. Since the upgrade I have had a lot of issues. The inverter does not behave like it should. If I set it to prioritize the batteries, it does not do it. When I set the Grid to charge the batteries, it still does not do it. Is there anyone with the same issue? Can you downgrade firmware? If so, does anyone have working firmware to upload for this model? Current Firmware: HMI: 0000-C362 Main: 0-6022-0717

Hi Smitty Is there a link for the firmware files, or did Deye do the upgrade remotely?
April 18, 20233 yr DEYE 16Kw, Was delivered in April 2023 with HMI: Ver 0000-C35A Main: Ver 0-9014-1725 Requested an update as I was having a few generator issues. Updated to what I assume is the latest HMI: Ver 0000-C362 Main: Ver 0-9022-1725 Main differences from a menu side seem to be around the grid power settings available.

Current Firmware: HMI: 0000-C362 Main: 0-6022-0717 Why are you asking technical support questions about battery charging problems in a thread about firmware versions? Your request for help is less likely to be seen here and you are pulling this thread off-topic for other people who are looking for firmware versions. Don't do that guy, start a new thread! P.S. All the problems you have mentioned seem to relate to batteries. Check your battery settings in the inverter, if the voltages are wrong then that could explain why your inverter has been complaining about DC Low Voltage for more than a year.

I posted it here as the problems started after a firmware upgrade, so that people are aware of the issues with that firmware version and don't have the same issues as I have had and ignore/skip that version. Deye sent new firmware which resolved the problem. So the problem were never the batteries, but firmware as everything worked perfectly before and after the faulty firmware. Lucky you, Deye did not seem inclined to send me any files or guides. Maybe I should have been more demanding or disconnected it from the wifi. 😄 I did get them to also update the wireless dongle remotely. Logger / Wireless Dongle: Version Information Module Version No:LSW3_15_FFFF_1.0.86D Extended System Version:V1.1.00.0F This was on 23 Feb 2023 and the wireless logger dongle has been working well to date.

HMI: 0000-C362 Main: 0-602-0717 Ah, fair enough. Thank you for this post ^^^ with the resolution details. I'm sure that could help someone. It looks like you have a newer Human Machine Interface (C362) than what I have (HMI:VC.3.5.D) but they seem to have downgraded your main firmware slightly from 6.0.2.2 to 6.0.2.0. When I asked them for an upgrade I mentioned that I was having trouble getting the inverter to talk to the batteries in Lithium mode so I have it setup to use voltages. Maybe that is why they supplied version 6.0.2.2. Although I see in a separate thread that my troubles may be related to faulty cables. Btw in my earlier reply I did not mean that your batteries were faulty but that the inverter may have had the wrong settings for the battery stored in its firmware and thus did not want to charge them. As it turns out it seems that it was not so much the settings in the firmware but the firmware code that uses those settings.
June 19, 20233 yr As an ex-firmware developer you guys are really freaking me out. Please do not upgrade your firmware unless you really have to. There are so many things that could go wrong and the chances of bricking your system for no benefit is very high.

August 12, 20232 yr Over the passed few months of updates, are there any noticeable changes? If only Deye published a list of upgrades... My 5kW 1ph inverter is still using firmware's: MAIN:3382-1515 and HMI:0000-C35D. Basically is it worth asking Deye to upgrade my system at the cost of a surprise power cycle?

I did the update and it fixed my issue of the logger going offline. I don't have any disconnects for weeks now.
