Hybrid bidirectional operation, can mange grid-tie inverter power through phase shifting and has a powerfull multistage battery charger. I also have two Eltek THEIA 4.4HE-t Grid-tie inverters for sale, one needs to be repaired though. please let me know if you are interrested the units are almost 3 years old. The Victrons are really excellent units.

Hi Guys. I was doing some market research as a High offering for solar. We have made contact with SUNPOWER overseas. They have the E20 panel at a very high price of R14.20 per. ZAR/Wp. On these premium 327W Beasts. Have a look at the attachment. I am wondering if this is something worth while to put on the store? Hi All Is anyone interested in 4 month old Ca/Ca batteries. 2 are brand new (just been replaced by supplier). The last one is still undergoing review and might be replaced by the supplier if faulty. As I have come to realise, these are not ideal for my full time use as I am using them with constant cycling, and my Invertor isn't able to deliver a proper equalising charge (63V). These would make ideal and powerful standby units (have a much lower standby discharge rate than normal lead acid) for a backup system (using an Invertor or large UPS). Ca/Ca batteries don't sulphanate easily, so a equalisation charge on standby is probably only needed every 6+ month…

Have gone 48v, no point keeping it.

On my small holding I want to power the energizer for my electric fence purely with solar, no inverter needed. Energizer supposedly uses about 27 Watts. Nemtek wanted to sell me 140W panel and 100AH battery at exorbitant prices. Energizer can pull up to 40 watt. Any offers in centurion, midrand area? I think 100Ah is to small to ensure long life, battery should last at least 3 years.
