Hi Everyone I trust you are all well. I have 2 x 6KW Hybrid Inverters (Single Phase). I am finding it challenging to get the most accurate parameters to set on the inverter. Its been and back and forth/trial and error type situation between the installer and myself. The common faluts that have been happening is either the inverter over charges or doesnt stop charging the solar batteries (on Only Solar OSO) or when Solar and Utility are set to charge the batteries it also overcharges. Im not mentioning the brand of my inverter purely because its pretty much an Axpert type inverter (they all have voltronic hardware - Axpert, Kodac, Mercer, Infini, etc e…

Good day. My Solarman Smart Data Logger stopped working and the Installer gave me a new one. The "net" light does not come on at all(on the previous logger also).I tried connecting to different networks(NOT 5G) but still nothing. Is it possible that my data port on the inverter is faulty. My inverter is just over a year old. If it is the Inverter,can the data port be swopped out or does the whole unit need to go to Sunsynk for that? Thanks in advance

Hi everyone, I have an 5.6 MK4 model (round display) with some strange behaviour. The first issue is I am running 3 fridges off the unit and 2 of them work perfectly however the compressor on the newest one (Bosch unit) refuses to start while the inverter is "inverting" either off solar or battery. I presume this is a protection feature of the fridge. Then when running on battery in the evening, whenever my wife uses her hair dryer I get an F55 fault and the inverter either shuts down and has to be restarted or it restarts itself. It can drain the battery completely. I have two lead batteries connected in series. The minimum voltage that I noticed on the inverter is 10 volts. Hi all, Is there a way to get push notifications on the Sunsynk app when the battery SOC falls below the low battery setting? I get notifications when the grid connects/disconnects, but more important for me is when the battery is close to dying so I can reduce power consumption.

I have put a new battery pack Basengreen 51,2 Volt 120 Ah to the Growatt inverter SPF 5000 ES and the inverter when the battery goes under 25% the buzzer sings with 04 fault of battery low voltage.I guess this issue comes from the high float voltage in the settings of inverter(20) which is at 56.3 volt and i cannot change it to normal 54.4 volt due to "Li" battery mode.Charging voltage(19) is also at 56,3 volt. Is it possible to run an electric fan on a modified sine wave inverter and if so, what are the risks of damaging the inverter or the fan.

Hi all, i dont know why my inverter has the 01 error that means is a fan error that says "Fans locked when inverter is off", both are spinnning fine but error still happen, anyone know what can i do? thx.

About 3 days ago the system did not supply power during load shedding despite the batteries being full and solar available, on investigation the unit was displaying error 16, which is stated as "Battery Under Voltage when Grid is OK" with error 14 "Battery discharges to shutdown point" also showing intermittently. I have a Growatt -5000TL inverter. The earth leakage does not trip. When I swap the installation to Eskom it works 100% I have replaced the earth leakage. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Everyone Please could someone help. I have no idea why my system does this. Please see pic. I have 4x 300 watt solar panels. The MPPT is suppose to do 1000 watt but always on a clear day it will peak to 1000 watt in the morning then drop off to around 600 watt 25amp and just stay there the whole day. Many thanks

Hello from the other hemisphere 😀. My ET triphase inverter shows a strange amount of apparent current (around 400VA per phase) when there are no loads (less than 50w or the house completely switched off) and no PV. The image below is taken from Home Assistant and is confimed also by the readings of a current clamp. Can anybody tell me if their inverter is showing such apparent current (and corresponding reactive current and low power factor)? Thanks in advance. Hello, today a beautiful sunny day, and new problems appear! When the AC load is low, and the PV power is high, the battery charge fluctuates. We see it on the graph I "play" with the water heater, when it is on, the pv power is stable, and as soon as I turn off the water heater the battery current drops then rises to 150A, then falls again then rises again... The problem is visible on mppt 2 the voltage drops to 150v. I just changed from 3p8s + 3p8s to 4p8s + 2p10s. Hi Everyone I received as a gift from my brother in-law a 5Kw Fivestar Inverter and 2x Greenrich 100Ah Lithium batteries, he upgraded to bigger system after having the previous system for 8 months.. While figuring out how to replace my 3Kw system with this 5Kw one, I realized in the menu of the 5Kw Inverter that it can only charge Lead acid, AGM and Gell batteries. My Brother in-law says he used the system with no comms cables, since the inverter doesn't support it. On the standard QPIGS it doesn't return my pv2 input info and I've seen a lot of comments that QPIGS2 should return the second string, but when I query that, I receive a NAK. hi guys Today I got very strange issue. Due to thin layer of snow morning solar power was not best (about 85W) so i decided to went to roof and clear panels with the brush. When returned I checked the solar power and found that inverter produces 5-10W when PV voltage was pretty good. I was pretty confused. I turned off and then on solar panels. It didn't help immediately. But after a while inverter returned to good conditions and begun produced 300-400W from panels. Unfortunately after a hour and half it again begun work in 5-10W mode. Hi All, I have a 5kva Axpert MKS (low DC volt MPPT) inverter that was damaged by a lightning surge (it was running for 7 years before that). It's the model without the heatsink on the top and the MPPT board installed parallel to and above the main board. After this happened, I purchased a Sunsynk 5kw Inverter and changed the AC wiring to suit the Sunsynk. Upon install the Sunsynk was faulty so it was sent back. In the meantime I put in a spare MKS unit (that was running perfectly before). It's an older variant with a heatsink above an the MPPT board mounted under the heatsink.
