All working ok after the initial Inverter switching off then bringing in the new firmware. All the old settings were in. Which Sunsynk inverter? I have a 8.8kw and it was updated today to MCU 6013

April 1, 20224 yr 5kW Updated Monday: M 3.3.7.3 / S 0.5.1.3 / C E.4.2.2 Already see a difference, getting a more stable mppt on the one string that is at a lower voltage, before it was all over the place.
April 19, 20224 yr Hi all, So JUST got an update on my 8kW: MCU : 6014 Comm : 4.2.4 Will check this evening if any noticeable changes. Edited April 19, 20224 yr by Unintentional added inverter model
April 19, 20224 yr 5,5 kw machine. The machine was dropping AC grid continuously which was resolved after this update yesterday. Wish they would release a change-log with each release. M 3.3.7.4 C.E. 4.2.3

That's 20 minuets, you're a patient man. 😲 Rather change that to 60s. Maybe this is the cause of your inverter "dropping" power on load-shedding? Edited April 19, 20224 yr by TimCam

May 4, 20224 yr Hello, I have 2x 5kW Sunsynk inverters. The firmware that was installed was M 3.3.70 / S 1.5.1.5 /C E4.2.0. I requested an update and after the update, my firmware versions are M 3.3.7.4 / S 0.0.1.7 / C E4.2.4 on the master and M 3.3.7.4 / S 1.5.1.5 /C E4.2.4 on the slave. What bothers me is the Slave MCU software version that is now different. I spoke to the local Sunsynk guys and according to them the Slave MCU software does not get updated, yet mine was changed and nobody can explain. Does anyone else on this forum have a 5kW parallel system to compare firmware versions?
