Hi guys, I emailed this to the sales guys but have no reply. I recently bought my 2nd pair of Hubble S120's, which are now called HALO's.. These went onto a UPS that had two Deltec 105's, so, the same usual "drop-in" replacements. Interestingly, this UPS, when load shedding happens, there's like a delay before it "detects" the Battery voltage, I don't know enough about it, but, I'm sure they have some sort of internal BMS system, but, could that, or something else, cause a significant delay to happen, moreso than the LA's, as, the lights go out, and then back on , and I drop my router and one or two other devices.. Hi All So a friend of mine has a backup system consisting of a Kodak 5kVa inverter and 3 Pylontech batteries. When there is no loadshedding the inverter works fine regardless of the loads and doesn't trip. When there is loadshedding and the same load is drawn from the inverter, it trips. I suspect it is the way the batteries are wired up. this is how it is curently wired. (I know that the drawing lacks the correct breakers and such, please note they are installed. This was just to illustrate how its wired up and please focus on the battery to inverter section. This is how I think is the correct way. Input will be appreciated, thank you

My system is really working hard during the current heat wave. It is now set up to use the output from the solar panels with battery backup when the current requirement exceeds the solar output. But my current setting for the batteries is 30% to prevent the system from importing from the grid. However, with the coming rainy and thus cloudy days my batteries will be exhausted quickly. I will need to adjust the battery % up to prevent me from ending up with flat batteries - especially at night time. And of course load shedding adds to this I am currently powering a 2.2kw borehole pump and one 3 kw geyser during daytime. I intend to add another 2kw geyser (…

Hi I installed a 14.3kw SolorMD battery in May this year. (This was a replacement from floatcell batteries i had before). For the first two weeks it charged up to about 98%, then down to about 96% and now only to 87%. Any reason for this?. Overall the system with the new battery works like a charm. Only this issue that bothers. Any Idea?

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and wanted to ask if anyone had this problem and how they solved it: I have a Goodwe GW5048-ESA inverter with a 5.4 kWh Goodwe battery, in the summer when the cooling fan starts, it no longer stops even at low temperatures, the only way to stop it is to disconnect the fan connector, in this way it resets itself and until it reaches the start temperature again they do not start. I asked my installer, but he told me that it is normal in the summer, now anyway I will try to insist, but in my opinion the sensor could have some problem. thank you all

Good day I had a 5kw Sunsynk inverter and 5kwh Sunsynk battery installed yesterday as backup system only (solar will be added later). So during periods of no loadshedding, must the battery be discharged daily/weekly to keep it healthy, or can it stay on full charge for extended periods? Any requirements for the warranty? Thanks

Hope someone can help - I have read the similar threads here but haven’t found a solution that helps and I’m now desperate. I have a Goodwe GW5048D ES and 3 Pylontech 3000’s. A substation in our area suffered cable theft 45 hours ago and is unlikely to be back in action for another 24 hours. I only realised late in the afternoon yesterday when the batteries were at 20%. Tried changing settings to be able to use another 10% of batteries last night, but it wouldn’t accept that. This morning I noticed the batteries weren’t charging. HI All I have 3X Narada 50AH batteries and was looking to add more, however they dont seem to be available. 2 batteries are 2 1/2 years old and the other just over a year so dont want to chuck them out, it was also a big investment for me at the time. what are the options? i was told i cant add a 100AH version to this setup. if i were to replace them, where do i sell these?

Hi As I understant it Riot and Cloudlink is the same thing. What benefits are there to getting the Cloudlink over and above everything that can be done and seen on the Sunsync Logger app? Assuming that Sunsync and Hubble have their independent ways of communicating.

Hi guys, had my installation 2 weeks, sofar 6000 and 4xus2000c. Had the alarm come on last night and all leds flashing on battery 2. I turned all the batteries off via the SW switch on the master, waited 15mins and then turned back on. Alarm cleared and going to see what happens today. Any ideas what happened?

Good day, Did anyone manage to get the Cloudlink to communicate with Sunsynk 8 Kw Inverter, i am connecting 4 Hubble Batteries 5.5Kw with Sunsynk 8 Kw. according to @HubbleLithium Full monitoring is available for the Sunsynk 8KW & 12KW Inverters currently, I have tried all the settings indicated by Hubble but Inverter still not connected, only Batteries. I have done the following: RJ12 RIOT S port to RJ12 Master Battery. RJ45 Connecting RIOT MUL port to RS485 port on SunSynk. CAN BUS RIOT to CAN Inverter.

I am a bit budget-strapped at the moment but would like to increase my battery bank. I have 2 x Pylontech US2000 plus 48v batteries and am considering adding another Pylontech 48v battery to the mix. Would this be a problem connecting these because they would not be equally balanced? Or would the individual BMS on each battery suffice to sort out these issues? I'm still new to solar so these answers don't come naturally to me (yet). Also what would the risk be in adding a different vendor of battery or different capacity battery?

Quick question for those who run Pylontech stack with different battery models. Recently I upgraded my stack with 2 x US3000C and I run a total of 8 batteries. One US3000C is master and rest slaves. All runs ok , no issues. I have upgraded the firmware on all so they all run same level of firmware. From the inverter I run 2 x 50mm2 wire in 2 splitters and from there I go with 2 x 35mm into 2 x DC Breakers. So I run with 2 sets of wire for feeding the pylontech. 2 Power Wires on top battery and 2 power wires on bottom battery. Hi Everyone Getting closer to finalizing system spec. Decided on 5Kw Sunsynk fairly quickly but I am struggling to find consensus on a ~5KWh 1C Battery to pair it with for ~R30K. Would really prefer close to 1C upfront with 1 battery before I add another one. - Hubble AM-2 seems like a logical choice but there seems to be lots of people having issues and in parallel people saying to stay away from NMC. Is there anyone with experience with high voltage battery systems in a residential setting? I know it's common in commercial and utility scale and the tech is trickling down to residential now from Pylontech, BYD, BSL, FoxESS, etc From what I've seen from the big solar show in Germany in May they are starting to look like a great storage system where you can just buy another module and add it on with no need for wiring or electricians.

Hi everyone. I wonder if someone can assist. I have 2 x U-P5000 installed with a DEYE Inverter. BMS is not communicating with the inverter - I see no data on the inverter. Everything works fine discharges fine and charges fine. I even changed out the RJ 45 cables for new ones and followed the steps that was mentioned here on the forum. But no luck. Thank you

I've just upgraded my battery bank 2 Pylontech US3000B's with additional 2 US3000C batteries. My existing 2 batteries had been in use for nearly 3 years now with about 550 cycles on them. Now when I check in ICC, the cycles on all 4 batteries is showing as zero. Is this normal?

Hi guys, So I am new to all this and I think this is probably a case of a little knowledge being a dangerous thing but I want to understand better. I have been checking the battery info in Solar Assist for the three AM-5's I have. I have noticed two of them (pack 2 & 3) reach 100% SOC at 55.9V where as pack 1 is only 53.9V. Pack 1 also tends to run about 2 degree warmer, but I think that is just due to it getting some of the hot air exhaust from the inverter. Is this something to be concerned about? Also strangely pack 3 says its capacity is 102.5Ah, did I just score an extra 2.5Ah?

Hi I installed a Sunsynk 8kw with Hubble AM-2 battery on 30 Sept 22 Small offfice backup with no solar yet. After loadshedding battery dont recharge to 100% SOC. Seems the SOC drops after each discharge, first discharge went back to 80% SOC 2nd discharge went back to 67% SOC anyone that can assist as it seems @HubbleLithium takes forever to reply.

Good day, I am new to this forum and need some help. I bought a Must 3Kw 24v inverter which have a build in 80A MPPT charger. The charger can charge 20-30A from the utility. I don't have any PV panels as yet. My goal is to beat loadshedding with a manual changeover switch. I need to set up the inverter to charge the batteries optimally.
