Hi , Has anyone had issues connecting via the App: Watch Power to the Kodak OGS 5.6Kwh Inverter? I get as far as the final screen in the setup, Network Dignostics, seems the connection etween Inverter and WIF Module has an issues and etween Rputer and Server? This inverter has a built in WIFI Module which you connect to. See pics attached on what i see. Any solutions / help will be very grateful. Thanks, Gary

Kodak inverter connected to solar and 2x polytech 5000 battery When eskom goes if switch over nice . Problem when eskom comes back after load shed , the inverter switch , then after few min, show red circle and restart , does it 3 times , sometime 5 times, then only it run normal . What can be the reason for this incorrect settings ??

Hallo All, The Code thats flashing on the Master is a HS, and according to the manual it indicates that's the Master unit. Another problem that happens mostly at night, but also at day time, during load shedding is, the Slave switches off, and stays off until theirs Utility. Now, I do have my Setting 01 on SUB, 12 on 51V, and 13 on 53V. My PV are only connected to my Master, can someone help please. Thanks I have 2x 5.6kva Kodak inverters in Parallel.

Hi gents, I pulled the trigger on this inverter + battery, should be installed next week. My question is, is there is an app that I can download to monitor battery % during/after load shedding? That's the only reason I would want the app, just to monitor battery health.

Hi all, recently installed a VMIII Inverter plus Hubble AM2 battery at my shop. Now I've added 3x 545 watt panels to it( in series). Changed settings to OSO charging the battery etc. All seems to be right..... I can see the voltage is over 130V but no solar production 🥺 no watts nor amps all zero. What could be wrong?

Hi All Scratching my head here. I've just installed the above along with 2 Felicity 7.4kWh batteries, with BMS comms. No PV into the inverter, that's still handled by an existing Victron MPPT.(I need to rearrange the panels to up the voltage) When I connect the generator to the system the inverter the charging light doesn't come on, although it does sync. Every now and then the charge light flashes, but that's it. Never had an issue like this with other Voltronic inverters Any suggestions? I've tried all the combos I can think of. Cheers Ian

Good morning. I have a single Kodak OG-Plus 5.48 inverter with 2x Kodak FL5.2 batteries installed. I have setup the communication between the inverter and the batteries correctly (this includes the DIP switches, the cable between the link ports etc). The battery icon is flashing and no errors are displayed by the inverter and batteries so I know the communication is working. The issue I am having is the SOC between the master and the slave battery differs. The master is always lower than slave. For example, by battery voltage is 51.9V. The slave battery indicates that its SOC with 2x LED's (40%-60%) that is on and the running LED flashing indicating that it is c…

The Kodak inverter worked fine and the the screen started flashing on and off, and eventually just switched off. Screen dead. I could not get it to start again. The Inverter is setup with user defined settings for the Revov 11.2KW battery. It has a 200A fuse isolator on the battery cables between the battery and inverter. Any suggestions as to what can be wrong? According to the manual it could be that the inverter does not sense the battery supply, ie voltage too low or some other problem. The battery is fully charged.

Good day I do not get the inverter to operate on setting 1, the SUb function I do operate it now with the timers between night and day on USb and SbU Do i need a software upgrade.

Morning All, need some advise please. I do have 2 Kodak 5.6 in Parallel, connected to 3x 100Ah Shoto 4.8 batteries. The Problem is that during Load shedding I will get a 04 error code, what I think its a battery Low Warning. But on Inverter Screen in shows 48.2V and battery Led,s (all 4 of them are green). I don't know if the settings are wrong, any ideas please. Thanks

My question when set in SBU mode only solar and battery get used how do I get the utility to start charging the battery say when it’s at 70% so if solar is unavailable during the evening, I found option 12 but not quiet sure how to use it, anyone know thanks

Hi all this is a strange one on emulated bms my soc dropped to 1% yesterday however on inverter values and on the inverter it is fully charged. I was trying the power settings as per below and I did notice at 8am Soc dropped to 1%, it then recharges very slowly as well on the emulated option soc to the battery

Hi all using solar assistant to monitor settings, when on solar first - uses more grid than pv eg for load of 137w uses grid 273w and pv only 17w - if I switch this this to solar battery utility then this works as expected - 157w load pv 149w grid uses 0 I would leave this on SBU but when solar stops say 5pm the batteries are low and then I’m afraid I’ll delete the batteries to 0 does not look like it even uses the utility in this mode Is there a setting somewhere ? thanx in advance

Hi everyone...Is there an alternative Bluetooth App other than Watchmanager for Kodak OG.3.24 Inverter? The Watchmanager App wont install on my Android because it says its meant for an older version of Android. This Kodak does not support wifi, only RS232 and I will seek a RS232 to wifi converter, but for now I want to use the Bluetooth functionality. I can pair my phone, but its useless without an App.

Hi guys, I've looking for a cable to go from a Kodak bl 3.6 battery to a pc (usb). It seems the rs232 port is the best option (info wise) but the port looks smaller than a rj45 connector. Does anyone have a link to the right cable. Many thanks

I need assistance from someone with knowledge of the Kodak OG3.24 inverter. It is paired with two Revov 200ah batteries. Battery app shows that the batteries only charge to 80%. On the inverter screen it says batteries are full. I think it must be a setting on the inverter. Please show me in the right direction.

Hi All I have this inverter coupled to 2 Freedom Won e towers and a single string of 5 x 545 CJ panels. My batteries "talk" to the inverter via the supplied Voltronic Axpert inverter RS485 cable, I think. Works very well in SBU mode and most of my house is hooked up. Geyser , oven, a " Welding" plug point in the garage and an "Iron"plug in the laundry still on Eskom. I am now at the point where I want to get the best out of the system and do some fine tuning. The inverter will in the middle of the day intermittently just drop the pv input to 0, then after a while auto restores, any ideas?

Hi All The display on my close to 1 years old inverter is starting to bomb out by the look of it. At the moment it's just the date and error code and battery current inon the bottom and bottom right, but, in my experiance these things do not get better, and only get worse. I still have to check the warranty, but assuming it's over, then what are my options. It's all working so well , I really dont want to take it in for repair, and would prefer to do it myself or get-a-guy-in. Has this happened to anyone else Is it a regular Kodak problem what are my options.

Good day, @SEGEN SOLAR Can you please assist? Kodak OG-10 is not charging my batteries at anything more than 100A. Have 9240W of JA Solar panels installed on the 2 MPPT strings. Solar panels easily provide max power wirh clear skies. Based on the data sheet of the inverter, it should be able to supply 150A for either PV or Utility charging with a max charging of 150A. Is my understanding correct? I realised that the inverter only charges the battery bank at a maximum of 100A irrespective of what the inverter max battery charging current is set at (110A - 150A). Thought it might be a firmware issue and upgraded to version 90.01 …

Looking for assistance to update firmware on subject inverter. Changeover time is too long, tv and appliances switch of when loadshedding kicks in. Also would like to know if there is specific pin out on comms with Dynes 4850 li-ion battery bank. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as I'm not using the full potential of the inverter.
