I have good news. The Hubble units are now being shipped. I will oversee the operation to see that everyone gets their units. Good news.  Sincerely Jason

Depends if they had stock, 3 weeks is a long time. How reputeable is your supplier, do they respond to enquiries?

Yes Hubble does know about my order and they have admitted that it has been long outstanding if they look at my PO number on their system. And now I'm being ignored. Their last reply was: I just calling warehouse to see. I need to fulfill orders first. Sounds to me like my my order is placed on the "back burner". What irks me most is that if you start with a certain battery manufacturer,  then you have to stay with them when you want to add at a later stage.

Is it "normal" to wait longer than 3 weeks after payment for a Hubble battery? And I'm still waiting after several promises. Grrrr

It looks like Hubble's success in popularity is causing them huge problems with stock over the Christmas season, and because of possible supply chain delays from international cell suppliers..  🤔

My two Hubble AM-2's are serving me well, but I really need another two to go off grid. :)

I'll just have to wait for funds and stock then.

In fairness, global supply chains have been a major constraint this year, with all sorts of issues with raw material shortages, vessels being quarantined, containers getting stuck in the US, ports being bypassed, etc., etc., etc.  I dont know if any of these are applicable here, but from first habd experience I've never seen lead times stretch as badly as they did this year.

I had to wait 6 weeks, paid for three AM-2's on the 30th of November and only got delivered today, also the logistics company they use dispatched the batteries three separate days and returned them back to to depot twice.

Haha, so that doesn't bode well for me. Very bad news.

there was a separate incident, not regarding hubble delays, but service from a "installer", deleted off this forum not to long ago (a week or so, pax was the user), presumably an agreement had been entered intro and the client got service,

the global delays are real, you would do well do get an eta, hubble internal staff etc. not withstanding and their possible various escapades regarding feedback.

keep in mind time of year, not much happens now (time of year), but ensure your not kept hanging (somehow) and get an actual eta on goods delivered, in writing.

Yip, never mind batteries, my supplier is battling to get panels for me to upgrade my second string. 🙄

too true, there's just no stock to be found

my supplier, not to far from me (15 mins), listed over 2000 panels of what I wanted, looked again all gone.(very quickly btw, under 24 hrs)

checked my shortlist of suppliers same story.

seems solar has gone mainstream, big time, or just not enough for everyone, surprise! not really..., its not just for enthusiast's anymore.

however my digging into Chinese suppliers as a result have had strangle results, costs are down substantially, another surprise.(not really)

possibly netted 200ah 48v battery with comms (can etc) to everything(most brands), axpert excluded of course for 700usd more or less. its around 650 plus shipping.

I finally on Monday received a Hubble AM2 that I ordered in November, and which had been promised for "first week of December"

I understand that the November load shedding caused a huge spike in orders and that had inevitable consequences on deliveries.  The part that I found very disappointing and frustrating is the lack of feedback and honesty - lots of promises made and not kept.  I made many calls and I suspect that the only reason I got the battery is that I made a complete nuisance of myself.  If I had patiently waited I would still be waiting...

I only have a WhatsApp number and they don't even read my messages. It is very frustrating. Could you please pm with the ringing phone number so I  can see if I can speak to somebody?

Who is the supplier, if you don’t mind telling us?

Hi Guys.

If this is powerforum store I will jump on it right away. I know Hubble have delays and Steve is taking a break. Let me know how I can help.

Hi Vaal,

We are currently 3 to 4 weeks behind orders due to massive demand.

Further to that we have containers at the harbour being delayed of up to 3.5weeks. Two days ago Cape town harbour declared force majeure due to power outage which delayed a few of our containers. However we expect to have stock next week again, though we are closed for the festive season. Deliveries will start again in the new year.

We're in the same boat at Tesla as they have a 6 month backlog on powerwalls due to chip shortages same as us.

We do apologize and appreciate your understanding.

Great to be a popular brand, but supply issues can be a real downer for you and your customers.

Hope the harbour and chip issues are resolved timeously. 👍

Offer them some batteries and Inverters, so this doesn't happen again. 😂🤣🤣

Hi Jason.

Yes it is through Powerforum Store and I  got my PO number and Hubble's WhatsApp number from Steve because he was also at whits end. I contacted Kayleah via WhatsApp and email and her reply was she can see that my PO number was a long outstanding number and she made a couple of  promises of which none has materialised. Ja, first it was the truck blockage at the toll gate and now power outage in CT. What more can I  say. LoL softly.

If there is a long backlog why the different stories? "Hey guys please note that we have a long backlog and you can expect delivery in x amount of days/weeks/months"? We've got their money but lets hope we can get a battery or 2 to give them. This leaves a bit of a bad taste.

Thank you for the update. I have had a chat to the ceo of Hubble this evening and he has expressed the unforseen supply chain issues. Also affecting others .

I can guarantee you will receive your units.

Sincerely

Jason
