Hi I installed a Axper King inverter with 12 x JAP72S09-340/SC 340W panels in a 2S-6P configuration. The MPPT controller blew 2 weeks ago after 6 months of operation and I sent it back for a warranty claim. The supplier responded with "We need to change your Solar Charge Controller that got damaged due to the wrong connection of the solar panel configuration. Incorrect input Voltage and Current. The ---5KING inverter should be 3 in series with a maximum of 4 strings in parallel of +- 330w – 360w solar panels." I responded with the manufacturer spec stating a 60-115v PV voltage with 4000w limit. My panels are 37.74v max power and with 2S at 75.48V. Well within…

Sorry if this is in the wrong place since I have installed my inverter on Sunday I am unable to read my pre paid meter. it shows error -30- I have tried all the plugs in my house, inverter side and grid side but nothing seems to work. thought i would give you guys a heads up.... Over the last 3 weeks, i have had 6 Imeon installs fail. 4 of the units have been fan failures, 1 has been charger circuit board and this weeks one has just been internal failure. The way that the manufacturer is handling the issues and the time factor leaves a fair bit to be desired. Firstly not stock in S.A for spares initially, then a delay of between a week to 3 weeks for repair. I must admit two were swapped out with a fight. I'm Eskom fed and I've found that my analogue "wheel" only turns back if I export 3kw or less. When it rises to 10kw or more, the wheel stops. Is there a way I can limit the solar export power on my Sunsync 16kw inverter?

Hi. Anyone with experience in using the Smart Load function on the Deye / SunSynk inverters? I have 5KWp PV but using on average under 2KW at any time during the day, so want to connect one geyser to the inverter using the Smart Load feature. System is grid tied and works very well, but want to optimise the use of the 5KWp panels and 8Kw inverter! Recommendations on any energy efficient geyer elements that I can use?

Hi, We have an MECER Axpert MKS Hybrid off-grid inverter 5kVA/5kW with Pylontech 3000. At the end of load shedding, when the power is restored, the inverter begins charging. Right at the end of its charging cycle, the power drops for a brief period and causes all computers in the office to switch off. Any idea on what setting on the inverter needs to be adjusted to prevent this brief cut off from happening? Thanks Jim

Hey guys Been struggling with new inverter(RCT-AXPERT MX2 11K 48v) setup on Pylontech 2x UP5000.I cant seem to get the inverter and batteries communicating when setting program 5 to pyl i get error 61 and no flashing battery to confirm the two are communicating. I have tried multiple cables for the pin layout to no avail. Anyone have a confirmed working pin lay out for the BMS cable or a maybe a firmware update for the inverter?

Excuse my ignoramxe here. We are busy building a new.small house and would like to have my mecer 1kw run our lights (all. Led) and all plugs in the two bedrooms as these will only. Be used for very light loads (cellphones, laptop etc) How does one do this? Do I tell the electrician to connect the inverter to the lights and plugs breakers? How does one do This? We want the inverter to supplement eskom, meaning the inverter support the loads then automatically switch to eskom when battery or sun finish.

I have taken the plunge to install 4x535W panels with the Solis 6kw hybrid inverter in a grid tied configuration (with a conlog bec23 prepaid meter). HI All I been have an issue with above inverter, I have 6 X 480w PV installed (2 panels in series 3strings) with Hubble AM2 5.5kw battery, I run the inverter in SUB mode ( as I dont want to cycle the battery). I have the system for about 2 months, I have noticed after a month sometimes it will drop PV output to 16w with around 92volts but zero amps for 20-30mins even under load and than starts working again, over the last week , it gotten worse like in picture one for about 1.5 hours no amps so PV output is about 16w but I am getting 92v approx during this time. now since last Friday (see pic2) every morning once sun us out , there is no amps with around 92v and on…

Hey guys, has anyone noticed the strange values in the growatt server dashboard? They dont seem to add up all that well to me and I'm wondering if its the dashboard itself that's wrong or something on my end. Basically below you'll see that I've generated 10.0kWh from Solar, imported 4.6kWh from the grid, Discharged 0.1kWh from Batteries and Charged 10.0kWh, with a total consumption of 9.6kWh today. But I think its reporting wrongly between the Solar today & Charge today. Good day all, I am looking at a 10kva Victron system with 14.3kw Solar MD battery and 16 x 540w panels in Durbanville - Cape Town. Any reason to rather go with the 10kva instead of 2 x 5kva Multiplus II? Apparently I don't need the Zeihl anti islanding relay with the 5kva units, but do need it with the 10kva MP II. Also only see the 3 and 5kva units on the City of Cape Towns approved inverter list and not the 10? Would d be much appreciated if someone can give me advice and more info. Regards,

Hi folks, My system uses 3 Growatt 5000es inverters in three phase mode with 9 Pylontech US3000C batteries. The inverter works in SBU mode (Solar->Battery->Utility). In the mornings all solar power charges the battery and the house uses the grid (instead of using solar for the house and the remaining power for the battery charge). This is clearly a firmware bug, as if I turn off the grid input, the inverters stars working as it should (using solar for the house loads and charging the battery with remaining power). I have an Axpert/VM-3000 inverter, panels, lifepo4. As soon as it starts getting light in the mornings, about 1.5 hours before the panels can produce usable energy my inverter switches over to solar/battery, same in the afternoon, the last 1.5 hours of daylight does not produce much energy. I don't want the inverter to use battery power. It must use solar when enough is available to power the load, and switch to Utility when PV input falls below what's needed. Hi I am hoping someone can assist me here. I am having a couple issues on the my sun synk 8kW inverter. My setup is completely off grid and running 10kW of LI batteries but they do not have compatible BMS. I have been advised that for full off grid state the system should not the work mode timer engaged however it seems that even if I turn it off it re-enables itself after a minute or so. I am having the following issues and I am not sure if its related to the work mode timer but the device is inconsistent about how it works. 1.
