We have used over 140 of these units, mostly the 5KWH. They are solid and really well performing batteries. Love the 1.5C

No unfortunately not we do not have permission to show the internals manufacturer concerned that competition may try to copy it.

That is not a valid reason. There is nothing stopping a competitor from buying the product and looking inside for themselves.

Unfortunately not our call to make we have to respect the manufacturers decision on this. Also the sponsor of this Giveaway's decision. 😀

95% DOD 6000 cycles 5 year warranty as far as I can see

I missed this information somewhere, but 6000 cycles for solar, 16.5 years, is very good, even if at the end of the service life we will have 60% capacity.

Would it be correct to assume that is at 0.5C like most other batteries ?

Less Cs = longer life.. Can't fight the physics (apparently).

Technology evolves. Remember Moore's Law? Turned out to be a narrative repeated by the uninformed as fact. True science challenges that which someone tries to enforce as the holy grail.

I laughed out loud reading this.

Are you for real? Please post a link to where you see any other manufacturer or supplier do this?

OK, so why don't you buy one, pull it apart, take pictures and post it here?

Man, your post makes no sense. I am not a competitor. Not posting images here does not keep them away from competitors, only from potential customers. I was only pointing out that the reason is not valid. If they said: the manufacturer does not want that, it would be more valid of a reason.

That said, we know the reason is simply because they are afraid of criticism. I'm sure you could get on alibaba, find the actual manufacturer and ask them for photos of the inside...

Many manufacurers are quite happy to show what their products look like inside.
They are usually proud to show the quality of their products, which makes you think why some would not want to show their products in full upfront, what do they want to hide?
Someone will buy one anyway, open it up and show everyone anyway. Will Prowse does that all the time, exposing the good and the bad :)
Many manufaturers are also anyway simply rebranded seplos style products.
