Hello guys I am working on a 10kw Jarrett inverter and firstly there was no display or power. Now i do have power but there is no AC output. Can someone help me locate the AC section on this circuit??

I am looking to install a 5kW Sunsync for a friend. Due to the roof construction, we can only fit 15 PV panels. 5 North facing, 5 East and 5 West. I said that we should keep the 5 PV North facing on one MPPT input and parallel the 5 East and West into the 2nd MPPT. Yes, there would be times that the PV could deliver more than the rated 11Amps, but his load is so small, it should not be a problem. Now the supplier of the inverter advised that he should rather run the East West strings in series? Would this actually work? My understanding is that shading of any of the series panels would cause huge generation losses?

Hello everyone, I want to ask you for help. I bought an Easun ISolar SMV III 5K-48 inverter. The device was to operate for the first year as a backup power supply (4x70Ah batteries) and then be connected to the panels. It worked as a backup source for 4 days. The device started turning off the output at irregular intervals. In the end, it only works as an expensive battery charger. The seller "tried to help" until the "warranty period" ended. The device switches on if it is utility on, if I switch off the utility, the device does not switch to battery mode but switches off. Please help.

My last stupid question for this install (but loving it! Will share pics shortly in member installs). Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the Earth / Neutral Box. Whilst I am 99% sure I have this correct as to which wires will come in and out, and then the connection to the inverter ATS (SunSynk 5.5), I'd love a second opinion. 😄 Plus I think just about everyone on this forum is smarter than me. 😅

Hi there, I have installed a 5KW Sunsynk, with 5.1KW BSLBATT and 6 X 455w Longi panels in a home with average daily consumption of 15KW based in Johannesburg. Looking for experienced advice on how best to setup the battery charging timing from solar and grid during the day. Is it best to use the battery overnight, stopping at 25% and then in the morning use the grid and solar to get it back to 100% and maintain it there all day for the night and use any excess solar power generated during the day to feed back to the grid and "reverse" the cost of using the grid to charge the battery? I’m not using the aux load function and have been thinking of how to control a cooling fan for the inverter. My Inverter runs a bit hot during the day and I think the settings can be set so that it run most of the day. Could this work?

We had a heavy storm last night and sometime during the night I woke up and the power was off. I switched back to the grid but two of my three Axpert MKS II 5K -- PIP-5048MG (SOL-I-AX-5NB) inverters now shows error codes alternating between NE 80 and NE 82 continuously. The third inverter seems fine. Any idea what these error codes mean? I cannot find them in the manual. Thanks Johann

I recently purchased 3 Pylontech US3000C batteries with a build date of Oct 21, 2021. My Goodwe GW5048-ES has firmware 4161611, which always worked great with lead acid batteries. When installing the Pylontech US3000C batteries with the PV Master, everything worked perfectly right out of the box. They were 50% charged. They synchronized well and I have had neither alarm nor failure. The problem arises when trying to configure the DOD OFF GRID to 95% which is compatible with the manufacturer of this "C" Series from Pylontech. I have a Sunsynk 8kW inverter and am using the ATS output to power a relay that connects neutral to earth when the inverter is operating in off-grid mode. My understanding is that this is to prevent the neutral from floating away from a "safe" earth reference while the grid supply is off. Now I have been thinking about this, and am wondering if there is another acceptable way of doing this. I sadly do not know much about laws and electrical code, so perhaps someone can enlighten me on this. I had a a feeling this was going to happen.

Over time I have upgraded my solar input and battery bank and have added an 7.2kw EVSE to my setup. This has made my Multiplus 1 5kw 48V sortof redundant, as it is too small to cope with the load. I have two options as far as I can see. If I add one more multiplus to the mix, it may be just too small to cope with the load, supplying the balance from the grid or replacing the inverter with a quattro 15kw, which will have room to spare. Are there any pitfalls I need to watch out for when making the switch or is there a reason to rather add one or two more multiplus 1's to the mix?

Hi All, I've got a Kodak H3.0 Solar Hybrid Inverter. Of late, it's been throwing an IGFOL-F Error. When this happens, sometimes, I don't notice it but more-often-than-not, I'll lose power to the house. I then either have to wait or restart the entire system. According to the manual, the above code refers to "Grid current tracking fail" and the solution given is to either restart or contact the installer. What I want to know before I contact my installer is what exactly does "Grid current tracking fail" mean? Can anyone shed a bit more light on what this means and what the possible causes could be? Hi..I have this Axpert/Mecer 3kva inverter. Connected to 2 x 100a batteries and 4 x 375w panels. The average load is under about 400w. Every now and then the Inverter switches off totally- goes into fault mode and generates and undocumented Error Code 20 I suspect its to do with switching between solar and AC Power - when the sky clouds over, then opens up again. Just a suspicion. The only way to recover is to do a hard reset...cut all power to the inverter including from the batteries...and reconnect. Any idea whats going on here? Thanks Ian
