I've just lost my solar virginity couple of weeks back, small setup for play and learning purposes. 3 x 265 AE pannels, 1 x Aexpert 5KVA, 1x US2000 Pylontech. Using ICC to monitor and configure an inverter, also monitoring battery with the custom us2000 cable for icc software. The last couple of days I've noticed that Axpert simply stopped using PV input. It shows a mppt reading of ~100 V but it's not using any of it. Not sure if I got some settings mixed up, or there is something else going on. But only way to get pv to be used is to "reboot" inverter. Any ideas ?

Hi there, So i have the entire system installed now. I have a few questions: Victron Connect - For some reason i cannot pair with with my Smart Solar MPPT 250/100-tr, it is stuck at "Connecting 40%". Three phase Daisy chaining - RJ45 - How do i need to wire it. Is it the usual way or crossover? Where does these cables connect to on each of the inverters Right now I have the three inverters connected to AC and i have disconnected the Battery bank from it. I need some help upgrading the firmware on our Goodwe ES. According to the app it still runs firmware version 1 and it seems the app has less and less ability to update the settings on the inverter ("Setup Failed"). 1. Will an updated firmware allow me to change more settings through the app? 2. If so, how do I update the firmware? Internet searches has been rather unsuccessful. Thanks

OK, so now I'm thinking to go Victron MultiPlus II Inverter 48/3000. My thoughts are east/west array configuration, but what MPPT would be best so that I can maximum as much solar as possible for as long as possible. 2 x 150/35? My west "footprint is smaller than my east footprint, so I most likely will need to use my very big north facing roof

Greetings. I am facing a challenge with this inverter, spends whole day charging 2 energy storage modules (connected in parallel) but can't charge them to full. If the sunsets you can use stored energy up to 2300hrs, early morning it does not automatically start the charging cycle, one needs to switch off and on the button next to battery input cables, then it starts charging, tried to check the set parameters but can't see the arnomally, on trying to download the software disc, the inverter is not readable on my laptop (using the USB comm port). What might be the problem and how can I resolve this

Hi Everyone, We currently have an Infinisolar 3k Plus inverter installed with PV panels only and no batteries. It is grid-connected. Every evening, around 18h30 when the PV panels has a 0v input, the inverter goes off completely - meaning the screen goes off as if the inverter is disconnected from all power sources. This happens, even although the grid is available. The inverter has been running with no issues for about 15 months, and this only started recently. Good Day. I hope you can help. I have a Victron Quattro 12V 5000 installed on our yacht. As per the manual AC2 should be connected to shore power and AC1 to the generator. I have struggled for months trying to find out why it keeps tripping shore power. I took it in to be tested by a Victron dealer who hooked up the "shore" power to AC1. He seemed puzzled when I said that the manual states that AC2 is shore power. Nonetheless it worked. I returned to the yacht and connected shore power to AC1 and it works perfectly. However it does not deliver power to AC2 out. The same was true for when AC2 in was connected to shore power. Any ideas of what is happe…

Hi, My father in law lives on a Karoo farm with no Eskom power supply. He is considering installing an Axpert 5KVA inverter which will be connected to his existing PV array and wind Turbines (I will start a separate thread about the possibility to use wind Turbines via an Axpert). His existing generator will also be connected as AC source for the Axpert. Will the Axpert work with a generator as AC source?

Hi, I have axpert mks 3kp-24 plus, during the day when there is a clear sun light I noticed that I have 100 w from the sun. When put extra load the invertor take the rest load from the batteries. After I restated the invertor, it starts to work properly. It takes from the sun the full load. I have updated the software and still have the same problem

Hello guys We are considering getting one of the Huawei SUN2000 36KTL inverters for the farm, and we can always add more later if we want more PV, but my question here is, what is the max output power (Grid + AC from PV) that the inverter can pass? Because we only want to install 30KW worth of panels for now, but our total power draw on a nice warm day goes over 150Kva, the only indication I get is a "Max Output current" rating that is stated as 60.8A, meaning (60.8 x 3) * 380V = 70Kva? A friend sent me a manufacturer spec tag for a 5KVA Mecer inverter and I was curious. Minimum VOC 120V and 450V max with 18A max on the MPPT side. He has 7 x 330W panels and this suggests that he should just clip them in series. The cable PV 6mm² cable should have no issues handling the 9A (cable can handle upto 60A adjacent). Does anyone know of this inverter?

Hi all, I've been watching Axpert King specs and i have one doubt. In this inverter loads can be fed Up by solar, battery and Utility at the same time. Other Voltronic, Infini V can do the same, and also can feed grid, but King can't. Then, I know that in Infini V energy coming from grid doesnt pass trough IGBTs, Max power of load is 4KW from inverter + Grid power. I suspect in Axpert King is not the same and I think that energy coming from grid pass trough the IGBTs of inverter. Does anybody Know how King works?

Hi everyone, I have a Replus SineOn IH3KW-48-V inverter that I bought last year when Bonanza was clearing them. Its still unused. I also have two Pylontech US2000B batteries on the way. Eventually I'll put up panels, but in the meantime I'd like to install them temporarily (but safely) to provide an anti-load-shedding UPS for my computers and maybe to feed some lights depending on how long shedding goes on for. hi there everyone i have been looking a bit, but cant seem to find something similar, so hoping im not double posting I have a bit of a funny situation. My axpert 2.4kw has been running for almost 2.5years, and it use to easily carry the startup and load of my 0.7kw pool pump and a 9000btu aircon. Wiring has never changed About 2 months ago I started noticing that when a heavy (i assume induction) load is introduced (eg my pool pump), my inverter will immediately kick into bypass. If I attempt to run my pool pump without mains present, my inverter will complain bitterly for 10-20 seconds. Thought maybe my pool pump is getting old and requires more power for…

I recently adjusted my Inverter to OSO charging of the batteries. I got advice to also revisit the 'battery bulk voltage' as well to avoid damaging the batteries. i checked through the manual but am not 100% sure which setting/s to update and to what. Any suggestions?
