Hello all. I am hoping you can help. When I installed my Sunsynk 5K, I connected my CT coil locally at my inverter just to test and the little house and coil picture was visible on my flow chart. I then made a number of settings changes and moved my coil to the main DB feed which required the cable to be extended by 8m which I did with ripcord (1mm thick). Putting everything back together and the house is not on the flow chart. I checked everything the wiring and nothing brought it back. I have since moved the coil back to locally at the inverter on the built in cable only and still nothing. I have power cycled the inverter and still nothing. Could it be a …

I apologize if I am posting something discussed already or if I have posted in the wrong place. My config is a 5KW Sunsynk with 4x 100ah AGM batteries to be used as a standalone UPS for load shedding. CT is coupled. Load will only be around 500W. This will be like this till roof repairs are done, after which a full install with panels will be done by an installer. Some things are confusing. Why is there about 80W grid consumption above actual load, all the time? Why is grid trickle feed happening if unit is a "UPS"? No matter what the "grid trickle" setting is set to the unit has a 20W trickle I have setup a bench test scenario with a 125W …

Good day, I am experiencing a strange problem with the Datalogger on my Growatt SPF 3000TL HMV-24. it was damaged when installed and i had it repaired, it is working except the Datalogger board does not work, the lights do not come on at all. Does anyone have an inverter that is open that you could take a picture of all connections on the main board, so i can check my connections? Can i also have the voltage on the connections and schematic to check all connections. Much appreciated

Hi guys. If I have three Sunsynk 8kw's in a three phase setup, can I connect a single phase generator to one inverter to only charge the batteries? It is not to power the load, just to charge the batteries if needed. There will be no Eskom available. Thanks Jacques

Hi all, I´m a newbie in solar, and so far, I'm very happy with that, but the only one problem that I have is an annoying flickering in the lights (leds , but the incandescent bulbs also) when the system is working on battery mode and an inductive load starts. Especially, the washing machine (300W, and probably 3000W surge) and its permanent start-stop. Hair dryer also affects badly. That doesn´t happen on Line Mode. I have the Axpert plus tri 5KW, firmware 76.1 250 AH in 48V, and 3000 W on panels. 1. Could that change in current/voltage/frecuency affect the rest of appliances of the house, like the computers, leds or another sensitive devices? 2. Does…

Hi there. I'm based in the UK and don't know if I should be asking on here but I can't get any information or help here. I have 10 X JA 545 panels, 5kw Sunsynk hybrid inverter and 5.12kw Sunsynk battery. It's set up to charge the battery from solar and use the battery when there isn't enough solar generation. I have noticed that every morning when the solar kicks in and starts to charge the battery, the grid import also gets higher. I know it has to have the 20w trickle in, which is annoying but I understand. But the grid import goes up to 200w for the length of the battery charge, it can be 1 hour or 4 hours depending on solar generation. When the battery is fully c…

Hi everyone. I'm in the United Kingdom so different setup and priorities to most of you it would appear. I don't have power cuts or power shedding. I have 40 solar panels in 4 strings running through a Fronious 4.6kw inverter installed by myself 8 years ago and been running great. This system is mounted on my shed 40 metres from my house and is converted to 240v mains voltage at the shed through the Fronious, effectively running backwards up the sub main cable that feeds the shed from the house. In March this year I added a Zappi car charger for our new electric MG car. All going great and car charging off surplus solar. I also have Economy 7 electricity t…

I am trying to add my system to Solarman, but when I scan my logger during the setup, it gives a "Logger Does Not Exist" error. It is a Sunsynk 5kW with the new version wifi data logger. I can find no information on the internet, so I assume I am doing something very stupid, being the only one with the issue. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. 3472812f-397c-4a67-8d34-57c0f848f65a.jfif

Hi everyone, We've recently set up our residential solar system here in Muizenberg, using 10x 455W panels in two arrays, a 5kW Sunsynk inverter and a 5.5kWh Hubble AM2 battery. I set up a Raspberry Pi with the Solar Assistant software which connected very easily to the Hubble battery, using the RS232>USB converter cable from https://solar-assistant.io/. When I tried to connect the Sunsynk inverter to the same Raspberry Pi, it wouldn't accept its signal – it threw a "CRC Error" and didn't show the inverter in the dashboard. Eventually I figured out that it had to do with the battery settings of the inverter – I set it to "Lithium" and "RS485", which I ass…

Hi all, I recently DIY'ed my system (5kW Sunsynk and 5.5 kW Hubble) and I have noticed that the CT cable power reading does not match the grid power. For instance, my battery is charging through the grid at 2A (460W) and the CT cable is measuring +/-1.6kW (which is in line for what is currently on in the house plus the charging of the battery) but on the app home screen and inverter home screen it only shows that I am using 460W from the grid, which is clearly incorrect. The CT cable is installed just after the main breaker in my DB and before any load. Does anyone know what the issue can be?

Hi All, I am a bit of a noob but need some help. I have 2 x RCT Axpert MX2 8kVA 8kW 48VDC Inverters and 4 x HUBBLE AM-2 5.5KWH LITHIUM BATTERIES and panels. The batteries wont start their discharge in the afternoon/evening if they are not charged up to 48V. They will go into idle mode for the night if they don't reach 48V. There is a setting on the inverter "Back to discharge Voltage" but the minimum the setting allows me is 48V. Is there anyone that knows if its possible to override change this setting? Also have a Riot Cloud Link device for what its worth but the PV information is not available, any help?

I just installed Anern AN-SCI02-Azure-2400 inverter, which looks like Voltronic clone. It's used primarily as a battery charger from solar and grid, so another inverter can provide power to a house with stable voltage and zero switch time in case of blackout. The problem is that after a blackout, the inverter fails to detect grid. The grid line icon blinks for a fraction of second, but inverter never goes to line mode. The same is when inverter is on - it just continues to work in a battery mode, even though AC power is present. Restarting (turning off inverter and disconnecting solar and grid power) helps. Until next blackout. Interesting, the the screen stay…

Hi I am preparing for my solar installation. I already have the inverter (Mecer 5KW 48v), and want to do the majority of the installation work myself. I have a qualitfied sparkie that can assist if needed and oversee operations. I have to split my DB into essential and non essential loads, and connect the inverter, batteries, generator etc etc. I have attached my drawing/diagram of what I think should happen. Please feel free to have a look and let me know where I have missed something or messed something up. I did not draw the connections to the actual loads, but they will be there... Also are the values of the Earth Leakages and circuit brakers correct? The main …

If a 3 phase hybrid inverter is rated at 10kw, my understanding is that it can support a combined balanced backup load of 10kw on all the phases (3.3kw per phase). If the load is unbalanced (say I only use one of the 3 phases), can I run a backup load of 10kw on it? Or is it still l limited to 3.3kw on that phase?

I have Voltronic InfiniPlus 10KW installed in our home from past 4 years. So far its working reliably, however: 1. Fans have started making too much noise + buzzing sound 2. It's pretty bad with unbalanced loads, e.g. if single phase goes over 3300W it starts beeping and after a while it will shutoff power. 3. There is no proper app. Wifi module one is quite poor. 4. No support for Smart Loads e.g. I'd like to turn off AC if battery goes below 80% SunSynk (Deye Inverter, Sold in my country by name: Nitrox) seems to address all those issues. Plus it comes with official 5 year warranty, whereas Voltronic only had 1 year and its out of warranty now. My c…

Evening all I am about to change from an Axpert King 5kw to a Sunsynk 5.5kw inverter and have a few question while I wait for the new unit to arrive 1 - Has anyone got the comms between the Sunsynk inverter and Narada 48npfc100 batteries working? I have seen a number of threads with people struggling on DEYE systems but also see the documentation saying it should work. 2 - What software do you use to control and setup the inverter besides doing it on the panel. My inverter is installed in the garage and I am used to controlling the inverter from ICC / ICM. I know they work with the Sunsynk inverters but not sure if they have full control over the uni…
