Good morning all. I have a modbus card and I would like to communicate with a 10kW infinisolar inverter. the problem is that after configuring the card and reporting the information on the powersoler pro software, I notice that the connection is still not established. I do not know what to do. please help. thank you in advance

Good Day I had installed the Axpert King 5Kw Inverter with Solar and Battery. Is there some output on the inverter I can tap off from to determine electronically (High or Low or voltage of some sort or open or closed switch) if the AC power feed is available or not. The reason I ask is I want to connect my SMS unit to the Inverter to notify me of any possible Power interruptions from the Utility side so that I can disable (Automatically or manually) some high usage items like the borehole while on Battery Power. Good evening I have an Acpert RCT 5K inverter (5kW/5kV) with 12 x 330W panels and 4x Vision HF12-890W 12V 200Ah batteries The inverter was repaired under warranty on 3 March 2020. "Replaced the MPPT Charger PCB" was indicated on the Service POD note Since then the Inverter has not operated the same as before. It will stop charging from the solar panels or switch to LINE mode unnecessarily as can be seen in the attached Watchpower screenprints. Hi Guys, I want to connect a remote panel to my Mecer 5Kva inverter connected to 3 Pylontech 2000B batteries. I received the cables and a connection card (to swap) if required. The problem I have is the connection of the communication cable between the Batteries and the Inverter. There is no port to connect the cable for the remote Panel Any Suggestions Pleas?

Hi guys, Busy with a controller for a system with 3x Axpert inverters. Due to the lockdown, I don't have access to the inverters to do tests but want to finish the programming beforehand. Ok ,the questions: Does the "QPIGS" response on a parallel system give you the total PV watts, Load watts and Load % of all three inverters combined? (Query will be on master inverter only) Also if I change mode using the "POP" command, does it change on all three inverters? (🤔This one I can't imagine changing only on the master inverter?) I have up-graded to 4 x 3.5kW Pylontech batteries, 2 x 5kVa Axpert Inverter Chargers, and 22 Solar Panels with a total capacity of 6kW. I had problems at first with the back to grid and back to discharge settings, the voltage drops under load and the system goes into bypass mode too quickly. So I got the Raspberry Pi with the ICC software, magnificent program, but I still battle to get the correct settings, I would like to get the batteries down to 20% capacity before the system goes into bypass mode to justify the Lithium Ion batteries. I was switching from lead-acid to new lithium batteries, prepared everything well in advance and rehearsed all the connections I had to undo and do. This morning, for some stupid reason, I had an epic failure for a few seconds, I pretty sure I short circuited the inverter battery IN terminals. It actually happened to me a couple of years back, at that time something blew up and smoke came out. This time, no noise, no smell.... but the inverter is pretty much dead. Hello. Being a little new to this site, and always learning about solar, I present my problem I have an MPPSolar Charger controller inverter . apparently it is an Axpert clone or similar. It is a PIP-2424MSE1 24 VOLT MPPT INVERTER I also bought ICCSolar software to manage it and use the Axpert 3kva profile to viw the data. My issue at the moment is that for some reason, at 6am, it switches from Solar/Battery to grid and stays on grid all day until 6pm when it drops back to battery/solar. Despite the battery being in good health charge wise and the panels producing 700 watts and 20amps, during the day, the grid still pumps power into the circuit …

Good morning. I am looking for a 5kw inverter to buy, Mecer/Axpert The inverter must be compatible with ICC software. I am currently running a 2,4kw mecer but we need something bigger because we often have a overload if the kids are playing games and we start the kettle or microwave. Dear Forum - HELP Please! I am entirely off-grid. When boosting my battery bank (4 x 2.4kW Pylontechs) using my back-up generator my Synapse 5kW inverter much of the time (a lot lately) won't take the charge. The generator is a 6.5kVA unit. I would like to charge the bank at a rate of 40A but this is hardly ever possible. Sometimes when this problem occurs I'll need to drop the incoming charge down to 10A for the Inverter to accept it. Then I'll raise it gradually to 20A, and then sometimes if I'm lucky to 30A but then usually after a few minutes the Inverters disengages the charge and I have to drop it to 20A again or even 10A and start the process agai…

HI all, I am looking at buying a new inverter. Gatvol for the axpert, float bugs, usb port not working so cant upgrade firmware, etc etc. Is there any recommendation as what to go next without all these problems? Got the Axpert 5kva at the moment with 12 x 250W Panels. Need to run my 2 x Fridges,Kettle now and then, Iron now and then, and some light stuff. Lights are on there own system 12V. All else is gas. Hi, Axpert 5KVA, together with Pylontech US2000 battery all of a sudden started to trip DB earth leakage just before 3rd battery light needs to change over to solid instead of flickering (about after 50min) and only on the 3rd light - night time charging, when running on battery no problem, no other lights as well (when reset Earth leakage before light 3 is solid, just trips again) - was running fine for about a month before this started my settings are 01 = SBU, 02 = 60A (default) 11 = 10A, 16 = SNU (maybe set to OSO? but want to resolve problem first) 25 = was FDS, changed to FEN hopefully get error message? So after about a year of smooth running the Goodwe 5048ES is starting to cause issues. It cuts the power to the house even if grid and backup is available. There is no error light on the Goodwe or the PVmaster app - it just has zero power to the house. All the lights on the Goodwe are normal but the EZMeter has no led's on and the small screen is blank. A log from SEMS indicate the work mode as 'Fault' but there is no indication what the fault is. SOL and SBU have identical descriptions - Solar energy provides power to the loads as first priority. If solar energy is not sufficient to power all connected loads, battery energy will supply power the loads at the same time. Utility provides power to the loads only when any one condition happens: - Solar energy is not available - Battery voltage drops to either low-level warning voltage or the setting point in program 12. Does anybody have experience operating a vm iii with solar panels and no battery ( essentially like a grid tied inverter ), are there any negatives to that idea, as I have 3 phase grid supply, have a small solar inverter as essential loads back up on one of the phases. i looked at grid tied without feeding the gtid, the negatives I think, are, no pv when the grid is down/load shedding , costly engineering reports/beauracratic jungle for CoCT, unfortunately a proper hybrid is out of reach for me. Moning Everyone, Did a lock-down DIY solar project over the past 3 weeks. Managed to buy 10x360w Solar Panels, Mecer Axpert 5KW Mkii Inverter and 1xPolyntech 2.4Kw battery the last few days before the lock-down. Have installed everything and used most of the default settings for the Axpert found on this forum. Most of the time everything is running fine. From time-to-time I get a Code 11 Failure (Main Relay Failed) error. This primarily occurs early mornings, and more on cloudy days. How to establish or get the current version of the firmware installed in an Axpert 5kVA inverter

I've been installing Axperts for years purely as backup systems. I now have a client that wants a backup system for now but wants to add PV and then go grid- tied after that. I've suggested the Goodwe ES 4.6kW Hybrid Inverter (4.6KW Backup) with 2 x Pylontech US2000B's as batteries. My question is can the this inverter run as pure backup using the grid to charge the batteries and then using the batteries during loadshedding without PV and without feeding back into the grid? Would that be Mode 4? I just don't want to spec the inverter and find out it won't work without a PV array in the interim.

I have been having an issue with an inverter where we suspect a common neutral between backup circuit and non-essential circuit. Am I correct in saying that a test light bulb should not light up if placed on inverter output live and Eksom neutral bar with grid switched off at 63 amp breaker if all is well ?
