Inverters

My inverter of 5kva with 48 V of operation , has and error and show that in the middle of the "screen"; with the number 90. So I Know for an inexplicable reason , the hibrid inversor loses the serial number , that its true? . Do you know any solution for that ?

Good day everyone. OK so I have heard that the new Axpert King series supports direct comms with the pylontech batteries. Does anybody have any first hand experience with such a setup ? Also is there any problem with running them close to the there max rating (lets say around 4.5KW ) ?

My mecer lobo 2.4kv invertor is powering up but the screen only pops blue then goes blank without displaying anything..what might be the problem

I was scratching where I should not have and now I have the following issue. I think I have the settings back to where they were, but not sure. My battery is FULL. there is sun but as soon as the load picks up the inverter switches to grid. Axpert 5kw inverter. 1 x 3.5kW Pylontech battery. 9x 335 Watt panels Settings as per picture.

Good day all I have two Easysolar inverters that I want to set up in parallel. I do know that they are actually two multiplus inverters but I would appreciate some clarity on certain things. The two inverters each have their own colour controller and I would like to know if I must leave both connected via their respective RJ45 ports on the inverters or must I unplug the slave's colour controller once set up in parallel configuration ? Your advice and wisdom will be greatly appreciated. Thank you and regards.

So this morning walked into the garage where the inverter setup is and smelled something burning. Killed the power and discovered the attached cable burn. It is where cable from busbar connects into inverter Setup Multiplus II 5000 Smart solar 150/85 with 12 by 280w panels in 4 strings 2 by pylontech us3000b. Using 35mm cable between battery and busbar, busbar to inverter. Got mersen 100A DC fuses on both poles of battery Was drawing around 4000w two 2kw kettle, 2kw geyser, 2000w from battery and 2000w from panels. Installation about 2 months old. Hi, With the new Smart meters rolled out by City of Tshwane, the inverters disconnect from the meter, or trip the meter, even when “feed in to the grid” is disabled. What causes this, and what would the solution be?

Hi All expert Sorry for bad english language. 5 year ago I bought Omnik Hybrid inverter model Omnikhyd-3.0k-TL from some one , got only inverter no software no communication cable no warranty . I install it only on grid no battery and work well. Now I want to add new battery backup and setup battery parameter inverter I try to connect it with SolarPower software via rs232-usb cable but not work no response from it. could anyone please help me Thank you

My Pylon Batteries (x2 ) was Totally discharged yesterday when the workman were drilling on site . How do I get the batteries charged and my Solar system up ? Thanks

Hey guys. So a thought occurred to me. My plans are still to go with a full Victron/Pylontech ESS system in future, but I cannot get there money wise just yet. I can however potentially buy a 3kva Multi and say 4 panels now. Would this be sufficient to carry at least base load of 500-ish W during the day? If not, what is the bare minimum setup that will help save a bit during the day when the sun shines?

Hi gents, I am in process of buillding a power wall using lithium ion calls. Can my flashed axperts charge the batteries? At the moment I am using LA batts. Would be possible for my inverters to charge the 18650 if I download patched firmware for Pylons? any advice will be highly appreciated

Hi I have a question regarding PV inverter compatibility with victron inverters. Can you use any grid tie inverter on the AC-in side of a victron or only the listed ones (fronius, ABB, solar edge?) My understanding is if you use "non-listed" pv inverters it wont/cannot be controlled via the GX device, but can still be installed and will be like two separate systems with separate control and monitoring? My thinking is Three phase grid-tie system for daylight use and single phase victron with DC coupled PV to sustain backup loads.

Good day all, please assist or advise. I have a Axpert 5KW mark II with a 3.2KW solar array. When the load is low (100 - 200W), the PV Watts jumps between 70 - 600W. Battery is fully charged of course. Is there something or some setting that I am missing to damp the response of the inverter?

Hi my name is Sam I have just install 2 5kva Mecer Axpert inverters with 24 335w panels and 3 pylontech S3000 batteries. I an in the process of setting it up and would like to know how do I set is up for priority solar so that in the day it runs on the panels and then at night switches to the batteries. When the batteries get flat it uses the grid as a last resort. Any advice regards Sam

I have a supersilent FAW 22KVA genset alongside my hybrid solar system. We keep it on Off state as it is wired through mains and out put goes via inverter as well. A relay box isolates the two gysers. In other words if utility power goes the Smartgen internal genset ATS activates. The genset will normally run if it is set to Auto (hence its in off or manual mode to prevent it auto starting). When it is run ofcourse the Inverter sees Utility power and treats it as it would real utility power that is disabled if there is enough solar (inverter set to solar priority). Has anyone know whether one can wire these gensets to the inverter in such a way that they "see" utilit…

Good day I currently have the Voltronic Infini V 5K installed. I am hoping to get a bit of feedback from the guys thats been running with this model in regards with setting. My ideal scenario would be to run on priority setting Solar Utility Battery (SBU) during the day as the PV is enough to power the load and charge the batteries quite quickly. But at night I would want to run off of the batteries for lets say 30% DOD (SBU) and after that change priority back to SUB. Only solar is used to charge the batteries. I have a question regarding the Mecer/Voltronic Axpert MKS II inverter setup in parallel with Pylontech batteries? So the setup is as follows: 2x Axpert MKS II Inverters coupled in Parallel 8x pylontech US2000B batteries Centurion Solar ICC Problem: Everything works perfectly during times when the battery capacity is not 100%. As soon as the batteries are fully charged at 100% and the PV runs the loads that remain during sunshine hours, the inverter gives me an error (03) which is battery voltage is too high. We have a Mecer 5kva inverter with 6 Panels each 270 whp and 8 batteries each 120 ah the error is 56 my husband did reset the inverter but keep on tripping the inverter is still under warranty but now the guy that did the installation says that Mecer is giving problems this is now the 2nd inverter within one year i would also like to find out if the inverter kicks to eskom it trips aswell and then the message on the pre paid box says earth leakage?? I have a strange issue, I have a 5.5kw Diesel generator and 1x 5kva Mecer Axpert inverter with latest Firmware loaded. When I connect my generator the inverter detects the grid voltage but just wont use generator to charge the battery. I can hear it try to switch to grid and back every second. I see the generator runs at 52hz but even had the generator set to as close to 50hz as possible but same issue. If I connect my 3.5kw inverter generator I have no issues. Anyone have a solution for this issue. Thanks

Battery drained all the way last night (RCD tripped) and system shutdown. Look at the picture - when will it pick up the loads again? When the battery reports 100%?

Goodwe ES 4.6kW Hybrid Inverter Any current opinions on this unit? Would ideally go Multiplus II + CC (Smart 150/70) + Wifi + CCGX but the Goodwe offers much the same (except for the CCGX) and two built in MPPT's (which could play in my favour as my roof gets shade) for about R18k less.... Thats almost a Pylon's price... Yes, my first choice would be blue, but R18k is a lot of moola especially if you need all the other stuff too...
