Hi have recently installed an 8kW Sunsynk inverter. I am now trying to connect the Solarman app to the inverter. To do this the Solarman app ask me to connect to my house wifi and then after that I must connect to the Sunsynk wifi dongle. The dongle is listed an available wifi network, but if I try to connect it asks for a password. Does anybody know what the dongle password is or is there a different way to connect?

I recently installed an 8kW sunsynk inverter with 2x 2.4kWh pylons and 5kW Solar. I split the db so that my dedicated loads run through the load output of the inverter and all the rest through the gen port which I set as a smart load. Smart load activates @ 70% SOC and Off @ 40% SOC. Problem is the smart load keeps dropping away every couple of minutes for about 2 seconds. I have no idea why. No errors or anything. Also, does anyone know of realtime monitoring software for pc? The web interface is very slow and the phone app just as slow. Thanks

I have a set of lead acid batteries on my deye 5k Trying to figure out why I can see the battery on the inverter, and the batteries work when the power is cut... But I don't see the battery on the SOLARMAN app or online. Is there something I have to enable for that to work?

Hi All I have a 8kw Deye inverter and have a few questions 1) What is the G-valve on the bottom left next to the ATS 2)How do you get the inverter to connect with wifi and how can I monitor the inverter with my laptop from within my house. 3)If I use the generator input with a 4000w generator will it only charge the batteries or will the inverter connect the load up to the CT with the generator directly. My apologies for all these questions as the manual is unfortunately very basic.

Hi, Please assist, my current setup is working well. Except one issue, the inverter is using the utility to run the load and charge batteries instead of using the solar when it is available. My average Solar production in the day averages around 1.2Kw, if I switch off the utility however this ramps up depending on the load but can range anywhere from 5Kw to 7kw for the day. The average load on the inverter is only around 12%. In live monitoring with utility available, solar will provide 101W and Import will be at around 461W, so 3/4 of the power is almost always from utility. I am doing my first install and basically want it setup as per Victron ESS system. it will run on battery / PV expect if it gets to 20% SOC. i have looked at the seetings and manuals but i am a bit puzzled . Can anyone help me ?

Hi Guys. So I’ve recently bought myself a SunSynk inverter and a Hubble AM2. This combo works wonder! The time I designed my house and my electrical layout, I’ve already did the split on my DB having a DB for Essentials and a DB for non Essentials. I have a Prepaid Meter installed on my supply side. And I have the inverter set to supply the non essential side with my excess PV Generation. But from Time to Time I can see my inverter exports electricity past the CT clamp into my prepaid meter, causing my Prepaid meter to consume credit although the house is not consuming any electricity. Hi All, Would like to find out if any of you with the 5Kw Sunsynk's "only heatsink no fans" have the same noise when the inverter gets a little hot? I can hear the buzz from outside of the garage, sound like a hair clipper got into the inverter, there is even a small vibration on the case. Thanks

Hi there I have a MUST 5KVA Inverter, but am concerned that the priority setting may not be working correctly. Currently it is set to SBU (Solar, Battery, Utility). As a test I turned on the kettle and it appears that that the load is coming from mains / utility. The only time I notice that the inverter takes on the load is if I drop power completely from the mains supply. Is there another setting I may be missing? I know there is a battery setting in the menu, which has some impact on the priority setting.

Hi All I have been running 2x Pylontech UP2500 on an Axpert VP-3000 24VDC off Grid System. Using MultiSIBControl I am able to monitor the Inverter, Panels and the 2 Batteries. My findings are that the BMS systems work very well and have experimented with the Bulk and Floating charge settings to optimize the battery SOC. The UP2500 Charge Voltage is 28.2-28.5VDC and discharge at 23.3-28.5VDC. When the BMS reaches the set Floating Voltage the charge is stopped by Inverter and the BMS puts the Batteries go into Idle mode. The problem is, when do the UP2500 reach 100% SOC? I have two of these inverters, with only one installed. Its been running close on 3 years without a glitch. Got connected to that one 9x 250W panels, 20x120Ah SLA configured for 48V. Installed a further 10x320W panels and also the other inverter. After connecting the solar panels and batteries, the inverter is giving error code 08. According to the manual it is " DC component in the output current exceeds the upper threshold" I have no load connected to the inverter. Any ideas on what the problem could be or who I can contact? My inverters are Growatt brand.

i have been trying to get the latest Axpert 8Kw firmware my own is the 46.05 but i guess the latset is around the 90ish firmware i have only been able to see fot the 7,2Kw but not for the 8kw

About 4 months ago my slave RCT-Axpert 5Kva 4Kw suddenly stop showing the panels icon, thus no PV input. I replaced the MPPT board with a new one. But no success. Then send it to Mecer and they replaced the mother board - yet again no success. Return it to them and I suppose they replaced the mother board again, They sent me a video clip of the inverter on their test bank, working perfectly in parallel with the firmware U1 52.30 which is the firmware on the Master (back home) according to the technician who repaired it. Hi, I have a Sunsynk 8kw system with 4x Pylontech US2000 and 12 525w PV. All works fine except when I untick 'limit to load only'. My understanding is that this will allow excess power to feed back to the 'Non-essential/Eskom' side. The issue that I'm having is that in this mode I have power 'drop-offs' on 'Non-essential/Eskom' side. I.E. These circuits just have no power(they switch off) for periods. The issue is not load dependent as this happens with high and low loads but as soon as I tick the 'limit to load' the problem stops. Am I missing something? Please help. Thanks
