Would anyone have a copy of the latest firmware for the Sofar ME3000SP?

Has anyone had a successful experience connecting Pylontech UP5000's to Sunny Island Series 6-11 battery inverters and if so did the install also successfully include the connection of the COMMS cable? According to the SMA SI-LiIon-TI-en-45 doc connecting Pylontechs are approved but I am not sure on the COMMS cable wiring required. The other alternative I have been considering is the BYD BATTERRY BOX LV FLEX LITE units but the above SMA battery doc says not to use for off grid, maybe somebody can also pass on there experience with these models please.

Hello again. I am considering changing my second PV system batteries to PylonTech UP 5000 batteries in due course. On my other I use PylonTech US3000C with no problems. I was wondering if a comparison chart between these two different battery sizes exist, and where would I be able to find it? Thanks a lot

Good morning I am running a Dyness B3 3.6KW battery on a Deye/Sunsynk 8KW inverter. All systems operate normal, but the battery indicator on the LCD of the Deye began to show 3 red exclamation marks when SOC is 100%. This is a stupid question, but rather safe than sorry, so am asking. Hubble's manual / paperwork / etc online isn't fantastic already, and I looked at every single install pic I could find on here, but none show the terminals. I labelled the pic below 1 to 4. Which of the terminals do I connect my cables to? My connector under my battery is red and black though, but not sure if I use 1 & 3 or 2 & 4, or it doesn't matter. At the moment I have a single battery only with a SunSynk 5.5 inverter. And on the DIP switches just the 1 up, the other three down? Thanks.

I have a 5kva growatt inverter running well for the 16 months. for the last 2 weeks we were getting an error 56 on the inverter when we reset (power down and power up) the inverter the error clears and everything works again. Today we got the error 56 code again i reset the inverter and it started working but i have a flashing warning light on setting 19. The inverter is using the grid and solar at the moment it is not even picking up the battery. I checked on the shinephone app and it looks like the battery depleted as according to the App it is sitting at 10%. I need help with my UPS, currently the UPS is giving an error of Inverter output voltage abnormal and cannot get it online, I have checked the wires connected to the thermostat and the measurement is 0.5V, now it is still running bypass . hope someone can give me the answer, thanks for the help

Evening I am new to this forum and first time posting. I am definitely not a fundi when it comes to electronics. I have an issue where I keep having an F08 error and everything turns off. Rubicon gave a loan inverter which ran for 2 weeks then the same thing is happening. The technician seems to think it is the battery so switched the slave and master around. Worked fine for 7 hours and poof F08 error all the lights turnef off again. Load is 8% so not very high at all. Trouble is it turns off at random times. I cannot seem to get answers and I am tempted for them to take the wholes system back. Not what I was expecting. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi All, I have a 8KW Sunsynk with 2 5.5 100Ah Hubble batteries connected in parallel. My question is with the charging and discharging can I up the Ah from round about 100Ah to 200Ah due to 2 batteries running or should I never dis\charge them more than what they are rated for as a single unit at 100Ah? As sometimes I have enough battery reserve but in spikes it shuts down the system as batteries are limited on the lower Ah

Hi all, I currently have some lead acid deep cycle batteries, 8 x 102Ah, with sets of 2 in series, 4 parallel strings, for a total of 408Ah @ 24V. I paid around R 16 000 the batteries and am now looking at replacing them as they seem to get quite low overnight and don't even charge fully. I have a Mecer (Axpert) 3kVA 24V inverter, charging the batteries of 1.5kw solar, and at most drain the batteries 40-50Ah @ 24V overnight running fridge/freezer, security camera system, lights and usb chargers etc. I see some Lithium Ion / Phosphate batteries that promise thousands of cycles when they are drained up to 80% of their charge (DoD). Cost aside, a 400ah Sealed led Acid/Gel battery bank at 50% Depth of Discharge would give me 200ah, ideally or lets be kind and say 150ah on a 24v system. Why then would suppliers recommend getting a 24v 100ah lithium battery, on the same system and on the same loads? This is a Pv/Grid coupled system by the way, with 12 x 250w panels with an MPPSolar Chinese Inverter. Please help.

I had 2 x 3000Pylontech batteries working well with my 5 KVa Mercer inveter. I have added 2 more 3000c batteries. I now have an Error 4 issue each time I switch to USB or SOL in program 1 even though all four batteries are fully charged. Can anyone suggest a solution

I’ve got 3 x 4.8kwh LifeP04 batteries rated at 80% DOD over 6000 cycles - that is over 16 years of cycles and my warranty period is only 10 years. When they were installed, my installer set up the inverter to drain down to 30% DOD overnight before switching to grid and leave 10% in the batteries to cover for load shedding and power outages in the middle of the night. Now nobody likes paying for insurance and I suggest nobody likes leaving 10% of battery on the table every day for the odd occasion that Eskom goes boom while the sun is not shining.
