Hi guys. I hope someone can help me out regarding settings on my system. i have : 1 x Growatt SPF5000-ES inverter 1 x Revov 5.1KWh Li-Ion battery 12 x 330w panels laid flat on a flat roof Depending on the day and weather. I can average around 10-12Kwh a day. I’ve been reading on the forum that people have been monitoring the SOC etc and some settings. My settings on 12 and 13 won’t allow me to change away from 50. Unsure why. My battery selection in setting 5 is USE anyone able to help? I can supply any info you need.

So I have 10kw/h of life batteries and the accompanying electronics. One day (not next week, but one day) these are going to need replacing. I doubt I can just chuck them in the wheely bin. So where do they go? I'd like to dispose of them responsibly. Other problems. 1) how will I know it's time? I presume they gradually last less long (ie don't get through the night anymore). 2) will there be anything compatible with a 10 ish year old inverter?

Morning All, Is it possible to connect the battery to the inverter AND the Solar Assistant Pi using an RJ45 Ethernet Extender Splitter Network Cable? I would like to see more details of the battery which are currently not available on SA as the system uses Inverter Settings to read the battery. I am not able to see the State of Health (SoH) or the Cycles data so was thinking a direct connection from the battery to the Pi would provide that? Battery currently connected via the CAN port directtly to the Inverter. I'm using a Deye 5kw inverter with the 48v 100Ah 5.1kWh LiFePO4 battery. Thanks, MdF

Hi All, I am new to this forum and hopeful I can have my system issues resolved with your help. I have 2 Synapse 7.2kw Off Grid inverters in parallel connected to 8 Pylontech 3000B batteries in a parallel Master/Slave setup. The Master inverter uses the special COMMS cable for battery info/management. The issue I am having is that the slave inverter (not connected to battery management) keeps showing a different SOC than the master inverter. Both in app and on the display. I thought it was supposed to get its info from the master but clearly trying to do its own thing. Slave also consistently in an ERROR code 04 state. In the settings the master inver…

Hello everyone! I have a Pylontech US2000C that is always stuck in IDLE state, meaning the Run LED is flickering every 1-2 seconds. I tried charging it from an MPPT, connecting it to other Pylon batts that are fully charged to equalize, upgrading its firmware, pretty much everything with no use. The battery is not in an alarm state (no Alarm LED, everything normal in BatteryView) and it voltage in 49.8V so it's not empty. Anyone having the same issue? Appreciate any suggestions!

I am faced with a dilemma, i would like to replace Gel batteries on my 3kw solar systems. I come across 2 options which suits my 24v Voltronic Inverter. First options being Hubble 12v 1.2kw Lithium battery by 4 which transale to R19000 where i found them OR i buy 2 by Plyontech US2500 12v batteries by 2 at a cost of R31000. Will i get better value by purchasing PylonTech Or i would rather save money and buy the Hubble and save. Advise please, i have 4 by 330W solar panels running the system and its purely offgrid system

I have a problem that maybe someone can help. My system comprises of the following 2 X 5 KVA Growatt inverters 12 X 400 W solar panels 1 X Li, 51,2 V 100, AH 5,1 KWH battery. At the moment my BMS system is not connected. When I tried to connect the BMS via CAN port, after a few seconds it trips the 63 Amp main breaker that supplies the inverters. Any idea of what could be the problem?

Hello everyone, first time here so hopefully somone knows the answer to my question. I have a MPI 5kw hybrid invertor from MPPsolar and two Pylonteck us2000b batteries. On the Solarpower software that I use, it says I have FOUR batteries and not the TWO I actually have. Anyone shed any light on why this is showing incorrect? Thanks

Hi can someone advise me of the settings needed to get the voltage settings for 2 x 2.4 Pylontek batteries to discharge to 20% and load to 90%. I have; 12 = 48V, 13 = 51V, 26 =53.2V, 27 = 51V, 29 = 46V, Could I drop 13 to get back on batteries sooner as the sun charges up? Thanks

Hello everyone. I would like to find out what the cut off voltage is for that battery at 80% DOD. The battery has 2 banks connected in series each with 7 cells. The cell value is attached below. Thank you.IMG_20210915_142634_164-converted-compressed.pdf IMG_20210915_143744_529-converted-compressed.pdf

I've create the first release for the serial battery driver for VenusOS, with a few steps to install this. https://github.com/Louisvdw/dbus-serialbattery Currently this driver only works on the LLT Smart BMS range. Basicly any of their BMS that use the bluetooth app that looks like this:

About a year ago I got rid of my lead acids and switch over to Pylontechs. I placed 3 x US3000 in parallel, with a Raspi and ICC software monitoring the whole lot. All went well. Recently I added another pylontech ot the mix. I hooked up the new pylontech and allowed the four batteries to reach equilibrium, so to speak, before connecting back to the inverter. Now I expected the older ones to discharge first, but it appears to be happening the other way around. The new pylontech is the master. See the screenshot from my ICC while the batteries are charging, the new one is way lower than the other 3, and is drawing less current. For the same current draw I would unders…

Hi All, What is the general / technical feeling on the "best" or most widely used local lithium battery specifically for Victron installations? This would refer to Solar MD, Blue Nova and Freedom Won. Thanks

Hello everyone. I ordered a set of 3 batteries, lifepo4, 48v 50ah, 16s, from Alibaba. The price i got them at is around 690USD / piece shipped to Romania, all taxes included. After the order i started digging a little further and it appears that they don't have CAN, and the sales woman that i was in contact with said that the RS485 is not actually used, not even for connecting the batteries between them and for paralleling i should just connect them toghether...without any communications. They also sell something that seems very similar to the Pylontech US2000, and they charge another 100 USD for each. I think i am able to change my order for this other type, c…

I am going with the following set-up: Sunsynk 12kw 3 Phase inverter (max discharge 240A) 2 x Hubble AM2 batteries in series Should the breaker and the fuse should be sized for 300A (1.25 x 240A) - the inverter may be able to pull 200A from the batteries for now as the Hubble's are limited to 100A each on discharge. However, if I added a third Hubble, the inverter will be be able to draw the full 240A. By this logic should the breakers and fuses on the batteries be rated at 300A? Any recommendations on breakers and fuses for this application?

If my 2 existing Pylontech Li-ion batteries reached a 1000 cycles each, can I add another 2 new ones? What happens to the new ones, will they automatically be incorporated in this 1000 cycles-old battery family and each be declared as having 1000 cycles each by the older two? (basically like with lead acid deep cycle batteries) Or will they keep their younger cycle-life independently from the older two and thus have a longer life - so that they, in turn can be married to 2 new ones later when the older 2 reached the end of their cycle-life? What is the best practise, when to ad more Li-ion batteries?
